  1. What is the earliest we should plan to arrive at the port of New Orleans with FTTF? We’d like to get on as early as possible but don’t want to show up too early. Thanks in advance! This is my first time out of New Orleans and I’m having a hard time finding my answer with the search function

  2. We book one adult in each cabin with kids and then switch once on board. I drink but significant other doesn't. That's really the only way around it. Even a dr's not or pregnancy won't get you out of purchasing it. Good luck!!

  3. I've used them twice in the last 6 months, once for just tubing and once for tubing and zip lining combo. Had a great experience both times and I've also done tubing through a RCI excursion so I can compare and would definitely recommend them over a ship excursion. Both times we had 12 people or less in our van compared to the big buses with the cruise lines. Our groups in the actual caves were smaller than the other groups and our guides could move us around the big groups so we could enjoy the caves without the crowds.

The meal is fantastic and they really treat you like you are a visiting family member. There's also free wifi at lunch so take advantage of that!

When you did the zip line and cave tubing combo, did you feel like you had plenty of time. I'm just worried doing both we will be rushed. Thanks in advance!

  4. I have emailed them but haven't received a response. I was wondering if they still offer parasailing at nachi cocom and how you arrange it. Do you have to book ahead of time? And if anyone knows how much it might be?

Also, does anyone know the drinking age at nachi? My oldest will be just shy of 21 so I don't think it will be a problem(I think Mexico is 18) but wondering if anyone knew for sure.

    Thanks everyone :)

  5. I never saw anywhere on the ship you could buy a ship on a stick. Nor could we buy the cruise video.

I did email john heald as suggested in a prior post. And didn't get a ship on a stick from that.

However, my family of four came home with 3 ships on a stick and 7 boats on a rope. We also won 2 bottles of champagne and a gift certificate for the spa. The key is participate!!! Don't be afraid to get out there. And go the trivia and scheduled activities.

  6. No picture package. They give you a coffee mug, luggage tag, and a flash drive after you purchase so many pics. They did offer after you purchase 10 pics, then you can have them put on a flash drive for $9.99.

I really wish they would do a package price. We spent a small fortune on pics.

  7. I drink a lot of Powerade Zero too - especially when it is hot out. But I buy the powdered 10-count packages at the grocery store to take on vacation along with a refillable water bottle to mix it in. Then I am free to take as many as I want to take :).

That's an awesome idea. I didn't know they had the powerade in packets like that.

  8. My fiancé and I will be traveling on the magic out of galveston next week. The only thing he drinks is powerade zero. There will be four of us including my 2 children. I'm wondering how much we can bring on? If we can bring the big 32 oz bottles? And can we just bring a packages case? Or does it have to be in a carry on bag? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
