Not the sea breeze - a howling easterly blowing for 2 days. Today is calm and pleasant.

Did this cruise in 2009 and 2011 and loved it. The 7 days from Mauritius to Fremantle at the end were a bit of a drag - in 2011 we went via the south pole and turned left at the first sight of penguins. It was due to rough weather easier to head south and then back up than the original plan of straight across to Fremantle.

We had planned to do this cruise however Bob's PD worsened and he passed away in September due to a broken femur and pneumonia.

Maybe next time.

At some airports there is no option to purchase after security

The 7 day visa for $10USD is no longer in use. It was abandoned around 5 years ago.

All visitors from listed countries pay $25USD for a thirty day visa no matter the length of stay.

Citizens from Malaysia and Eastern Islamic countries do not pay.

Certain countries are not on the VOA list and have to arrange a visa from the nearest Indonesian consulate. Not certain of which countries/passports are affected. I do know Ireland used to be on the list as a neighbour was refused boarding at the airport due to travelling on an Irish passport even though she had residency in Australia. Ireland is now on the VOA list.
