  1. Hi everyone,

apologies if this has been asked a million times. I’ve tried googling to find some and not turning up anything even vaguely recent.

I’m trying to find anywhere I can find recent Caribbean dailies. Ideally for any of the newer ships. We’ve booked a cruise but I haven’t been with princess in over 10 years, so trying to see what activities are available onboard now and if things have changed much.

If anyone knows where I can find any I’d really appreciate a pointer.

    Thanks.

  2. Have cruised out of Southampton. Pretty sure rules are worldwide. Kids have to be toilet trained and swimmies (swim diapers) and pull ups are not allowed in pools.

Yes, from the UK and we were told this too. I think some of the newer RCI ships have a baby pool that they can use whether toilet trained or not. NCL have told us no.

  3. Hi. We haven't sailed with RCI before and just booked for the Navigator next September.

Our little girl will just be 2 when we sail.

I wondered what they give you for the room? We sail with NCL later this year and have been told we will get some kind of travel cot ..I assume that's what it is. A pack and play? We don't have them here..

    Is there something similar?

And also what activities and things are there for a two year old? I know of the Royal babies nursery, but do they put on anything special for the little ones?

    Thanks.

  4. Sorry if this has been asked a million times. I'm trying to find recent dailies. First time cruising with our little girl. She will just be 1 when we get on board. I'm trying to see what kinds of activities they have for her, outside of the soft play room..And for us during nap times :) Any links or pointers would be great, thanks.

  5. Hi Gemma:)...you know Reflection is in Europe now so there is a chance

we will have different people in November....just depends on when they

all boarded but after a TA crossing there can be quite a few changes.

I scrolled back and see the most recent list is on August 24th....no

band is listed but the staff is on there.

    Gemma, here is that list:

Thanks Lois. To be honest, I completely forgot where Reflection was. I presumed we would have pretty much whoever is on board now. Just wanted to check out the bands. Always like to see a few of them a few times, but some from last year were awful..nice to know who you have ahead of time ;)

In fairness I think it was one band's first contract. They supposedly came on board with us, according to a barman. So I shouldn't be mean.

  6. I'm just starting this too. Never been good at running and am exhausted in minutes, but giving it a go. Seems very popular here at the moment, so must be something good to it. Hopefully I will be able to keep up. I'd like to!

  7. Hi everyone,

Saw this thread and had to have a read and post.

I am a mad crafter. Have made jewellery and cards for years and finally got a crafting room when we moved house.

I had never scrapbooks until a random sea day on the celebrity millennium and now I am hooked. Any cruise of their's I am on that I see a "scrapbooking at sea" in the daily I am there front and centre and have got a nice little collection going now.

Sadly I think it is harder to find scrapbook ing items, especially cruise themed ones In the UK than places like the US, but I am always on the look out.

I will be keeping my eyes peeled on our next cruise for any scrapbooking sessions. Hopefully with about 8 sea days there will be a few ;)

    Gemma

  8. A few if us were saying earlier in the thread that fruit uses sugar up likd crazy. But we figured it was ok be side it is "good" sugar. Fructose. So, not to worry. As long as the other numbers stay under. It is almost impossible to eat fruit without using lots of the allowance for the day.

  9. It is a site that allows you to keep a food and exercise diary and keep track of what you're eating and the calories/fat/carbs/protein/sugar.. In your food. Helps you see if and where you're going wrong and you can track weight loss, set goals and also add friends and chat to each other so you can encourage one another. Also with people being your friend it helps you keep going and not give in or cheat.

  10.

Is there a group on MFP for cruise critic peoples? This way we could all meet up in one place and talk about stuff on MFP :)

Ooh. I have no idea. That would be great of someone can start one of not. I have no clue how. Will look now.

  11. You are not alone. The recommended amount of sugar for a healthy woman is 30 and MFP says 24. I am usually at 35 or 40. I don't pay much attention to it

I'm glad it isn't just me. I think it allows me about 24 too. It has changed now to allow for exercise too. But I thought it was quite low. I think fructose is different from sweeteners and artificial sugars anyway. But it still worried me. I have been working on the idea that as long as I was nowhere near my calories or fat for the day I'm happy.
