  1. Yes, there is a cost. I prebooked my passes from cozumelmexicotours.com. My then 4 yr old loved it. It's great for young kids and has a nice beach area. I've been to Nachi Cocum and wouldn't recommend the beach area for a young child. The pool is nice enough but it's just a standard pool. My vote would be for Playa Mia.

As others indicated, there are plenty of taxis at the port to take you there and always a few around Playa Mia to take you back.

  2. My son was 4 yrs old when went on the Freedom. His favorite things were watching movies on the Lido deck and getting the free popcorn; watching the ship's path on the in-room TV; pushing the elevator buttons for us; finding our room cabin by looking for the door decoration; the pool; and the ice cream. He tolerated the kids' club but didn't look forward to going there.

We didn't attempt the mini golf but will this coming cruise in Feb. Ourupcoming cruise will have the WaterWorks area so I'm sure he'll enjoy that.

  3. My 5 yr old son is excited to cruise again (went in Jan 2015). On our last cruise, we watched a movie on Freedom's Lido deck and got the free popcorn offered at the Lido deck bar (not sure the name of it). The popcorn was a little burnt and not very good. But my son is insistent that we watch another movie and have popcorn on our February cruise aboard the Breeze. Does anyone know if popcorn is offered during movie nights on the Breeze?

  4. My son was 4 years old and did fine during the muster drill. I would estimate ours to have been 20 minutes. He wanted to be held at one point but I simply said no (too heavy). People around us entertained him by asking if this was his first cruise, what he was excited about, etc.

If all else fails, you could always play I Spy with them. ;)
