Wow, this sounds almost impossible. I had to get the calulator
out. Eleven years old equals 4015 days of life. Assuming no
suites, he's sailed 700 nights? Now that's the life!
I was trying to be one of the youngest pinnacle's and my goal is
to reach it by 50. No use trying anymore :( .... but I will .:D
You would have missed it anyway. I am only 40 and already a Pinnacle member.:)

The extra amenities they added to D+ are really good for us right now. We are on a family cruise and DH and I can each order two bottles of wine to add to dinners with our family. Even if they charge us a corking fee, it's still a great deal for 4 bottles of wine. (And, the sons can pay the corkage fees, too! ;))
I also expected to just be grandfathered, but to have some extra bennies thrown in the deal is wonderful!
Count me in as a happy camper, too!!
You are not eligible for 2 each unfortunately.
As per Royal's website:
*One gift amenity per household. House brands may be substituted or changed upon available inventory.
Are you saying they are no longer limiting the D+ personalized amenity to one per household? That would be a significant change, and if that's true, I certainly missed it.Bob
No it's still per household. This is the exact wording from Royal's site.
Let us know how you prefer to be welcomed aboard. Select your preferences for special gifts you are eligible for on your upcoming cruise by completing this online form. Based on the number of completed cruise points, you may be eligible for more than one gift/amenity during your stay, please select a preference for all that applies below.
*One gift amenity per household. House brands may be substituted or changed upon available inventory.
Depending on your cruise history you may be eligible to choose 1, 2 or 3 etc... amenities but are still limited per household when choosing your amenity/amenities.

Hello Schooner Bar Girl - I use both and both are great for they both have very clean shops and working areas, good products, good choices of colors and other services - Hollywood is the closest to International Palms so I would go there and also tell them you are off this board - you know there is the cutest dress shop right North of them, maybe one or two store down that carries some of the cutest crusing clothes - don't remember the name, just know I have been in there and really like their clothes - anyhow a taxi from the IP to Walmart is going to cost you a bit and the trolley bus only runs North and South on A1A. I don't even know what to suggest. I understand we now have a new cab company here - I will check tomorrow and see if they have a flat rate or is it like all the others - I had to take one from my car repair shop in Merritt Island and to go about 5 miles, cost about $12.00 plus so I am saying maybe no more than $30.00 round trip. That is just a guess now
Anyhow if I hear something, will let you know but at least you have something here to think about.
Good luck :-))
Hi Shirley! Thanks so much for the info. I'm going to go with Hollywood as they do both fingers and toes. They do an acrylic/gel combo for toes and can do gel nails for me for fingers.:) Diva's only does polish for the toes.
I was able to get a rental car for $50 all taxes in for one day so I'm going to do that and then I'm free to go wherever my heart desires.;)
I will have to check out the clothing shop that you suggested as I'm always needing new cruise clothes. Thank you so much for your help!!!:D

Out of these two nail shops.......which would you recommend? Diva Nails or Hollywood Nails? Also if staying at International Palms how much approximately would a taxi be from the hotel to Wal Mart or could one take a bus? Thanks.

This is only one example of why trip insurance is a necessity....
Actually many times having trip insurance wouldn't help much. Many policies are secondary policies only and one would have to make the claim under their homeowners or tenant insurance FIRST and then the travel policy would kick in to cover what the other insurance didn't if applicable. Of course not all policies but many are this way.
I only purchase travel medical insurance when I travel as many of the other optional travel policies are duplicates of coverage that I already have on my existing insurance coverage.;):)

You can make a claim under your homeowners insurance to cover the loss.

People that have done it say it is the best and worth every penny! I have not done it myself but from what I've heard from people that have done it there has been only rave reviews. Hope that helps. :)
