We are going on Oasis next month with our family of 8 adults and 6 children. I have heard that the Cats show is not very good and people were leaving at intermission. Also that it was 2 1/2 hours long - huh?
Can't imagine the kids (ages 8-13) sitting through that. We already have our reservations, but should we just skip it?
It's a full Broadway production so it is 2.5 hours long (first act is about one hour, 10 minutes, then a 15 minute intermission). That being said, it is an excellent production with great costumes, design, and the performances are Broadway caliber.
The second act is also worth coming back for. I suppose some kids would not want to sit for that long, but there was a 10 year old sitting there entranced for the entire show! Just remember that you're seeing a full Broadway production.
I would recommend seeing it! And sit close to the front if you can!

Yes, Cindy was a special LA. She was so personable and genuine. You don't meet too many people like Cindy! She brightened my day every time I saw her.

I do not think that is the case here. On our next TA in may there was no single supplement being charged for the IOS, for a long time. There are no double points for us going single, which is fine as we got a great deal. You just have to look around and search for the deals coming up.
Unfortunately, now even this TA on the Independence in May is charging 200% for solos now.... It's good that you booked prior to the upgrade on RCCL's website. Now most of the cruises on RCCL are charging double for solos. I hope that changes!

Just got off the Anthem last week and Dionne was excellent! Extremely helpful and always greets you when you stop into the concierge lounge. She also will keep you very informed about daily activities on the ship. A very seasoned concierge!
