  1. Guess since you could do it last year and it states you can not this year ... it must be new.

I'm trying to find out if we were in violation of a policy that we had no idea existed last year.

    I appreciate your dazzling insight.

  2. I'm going to take a guess here (and realize it's just that - - a guess).

Carnival has frequently used the term Alcohol and the term Wine to be separate things.

I've ordered wine through Bon Voyage, and they were glad to deliver it to my cabin, and then have me take it to the dining room.

PERHAPS this is only regarding harder alcohols (such as rum, gin, vodka, etc.). If that is the case, then CCL has for a while stated that those were not for consumption in public areas outside of the cabin.

I never had to click the boxes for my wine orders, but it's been a few years since I've done CCL orders.

    .

I think you've hit the nail on the head. Thank you.

  3. It specifically states there in your post that it is for use in cabin or in dining. I think that should answer the question.

I think they don't want you taking it out on deck and causing a riot.

I know what it says. I can read.

Maybe I should be asking if this rule is strictly enforced. I simply would like to bring one of the bottles of Champagne that I brought on board into the comedy club to enjoy during the show.

  4. After ordering liquor from the Bon Voyage store, during checkout, this window popped up:

Last year on two different nights we brought a bottle of already open Champagne (our allowed two carry on bottles) into the MDR and then on into the Punchliner. Nobody blinked an eye.

Are we no longer allowed to do this?

  5. We are cruising from Baltimore to the Bahamas with a stop in port canaveral in May. I was looking at excursions and they have a Disney world and sea world available. My question is, with the price being about 2.5/3x the normal ticket cost, is it worth it? Has anyone done either one? Thanks so much!

Sea World is closer to the port, smaller and more manageable for the first timer. You will be able to experience much more of what Sea World has to offer during your time there, then what you would have time for at Walt Disney World.

As far as the extra cost - it's worth it for the peace of mind that it provides by insuring that you will get back to the ship on time. Orlando traffic in that area in always a mess.

Now, let's talk about the movie Blackfish...

  6. We sail on the Paradise next Monday for 5 days. I assume there will be only 1 Elegant night. Does anyone know what night it will be? Tuesday is our first sea day so that's the day I'm guessing, but I don't know so I figured I'd ask.

You are correct - elegant night is Tuesday evening. See you on board!

  7. I purchased door decorations for my family at my local party supply store. Each cabin had a different decoration on it. My nephew always knew where his room was because it was the one with the big sun.

Thank you for this tip. Everyone always suggests the Dollar Store for door decorations. I never thought about looking for them at the party supply store.

  8. I have been a CC member for a few years, but have recently become obsessed with reading reviews. I see that you can't post pictures directly and that you have to use a hosting site for pics. Which one does everyone suggest? We'll be on Breeze in January and I'd like to do a picture review this time around. Suggestions? TIA

Picasa Web Albums - it's a Google product and for me Picasa makes it super simple to share photos here on CC. I also use the desktop version of Picasa for editing and easy automatic photo uploading to my albums.

  9.

The street view of this lot is something else - thanks gsu_paintballer.

Does anybody have a photo of what this place looks like today? I'm just curious at this point. After checking out Capital Parking on the Better Business Bureau I think I'll look some where else to park my car.

  10. Admittedly I am one of those uptight people that continually worries over my car getting scratched or dinged while left alone in a parking lot. To help ease my tension , I always park out in left field as far away from other vehicles as possible.

Is the Capital Parking lot jam packed with cars or would I be able to park far away from other cars and hike to the shuttle pick up point?
