Hello,  I will be cruising on Celebrity for the first time.  Will be on the Constellation. I know it is older and smaller ship but I a ok with that.  Main question is I am looking at the non alcoholic drink package but was curious the cost of the fancy coffee drinks, soda, bottled water and smoothies?  Need to determine if it will be cost effective.  Also, any tips or hints either about the ship or Celebrity in general?  Any information will be appreciated.  

The change is they do not have to wait until they are 18 to get credit for their cruises.  When my daughter turned 18 and we booked a cruise she got credit for the 3 she took as a child.

I am going to be on a cruise that has the medallion in December.  All of the information I have indicates that the app will not be available for the cruise until 30-60 days prior to the cruise.  

We were on Ruby this month for the "new menus".  Two nights there was not anything that was wow I have to have that.  Lack of consistency in preparation.  Did not find issue with quality.  Not high end but not super horrible.  But then again food is always an opinion. 

We have also used Whale Watch Cabo and it was a great excursion. They even take pictures that you get for free.

I looked up the warning that is being talked about here. It starts by noting most issues relate to car jacking late at night. Cozumel is lumped in with the mainland and states the following. In reviewing various news sites online it notes there have been no murders to tourists or locals in Cozumel. Biggest issue is home burglaries. There is indication do not know why they are on this list. So I would say go see the island just be aware or your surroundings like you would anywhere.

There is one big plus for the Mexican cruise. It is whale season. We took a cruise that went to Cabo and stayed overnight. We saw whales several times on the way. Did a whale watching tour (not through the ship) and saw a ton of whales. This included a Mom and baby breaching.

I just booked on Regal and had to ask for no upgrade. The reason is if I was upgraded it would be to an obstructed Deluxe Balcony. Princess told my TA that the obstructed balcony cannot be used during sea days. That makes no sense to me as I like to relax on balcony and read on sea days.

Be very careful using Uber. The drivers are required to carry insurance but not commercial insurance. So, if there is an accident the drivers insurance company will deny coverage due to exclusion for vehicles for hire. Then Uber the company will try their best to not use their insurance either.

We had cabin on Riviera deck and there was almost constant noise from the deck above. People walking and chairs dragging. I really liked the covered balcony but it was never peaceful due to the constant noise in the room and on the balcony.

Make reservations. Do not just show up or you will be standing for a very long time. In early November our group of six did not try to make a reservation until the second night. At that time we were offered the option of 5:45 or 8:30. We asked what would happen if we showed up without a reservation. They said we would not be seated because everyone had made a reservation for the time frame we would like to eat. We were not the only ones this happened to. There were quite a few very upset people. So, it means it is not really my time dining. We ended up changing to 2nd seating in the main dining room. Very happy we did this as we ended up with two very good waiters.

Where can I pre order the coffee card? I have not noticed that as an option.

che5904-Although the portion sizes look very small the thing is they are very rich and it fills you up faster than you think. They are using quality ingredients like butter and cream. Plus veal is a very rich meat that fill you up fast. If you tried it I think you would be surprised how full you would be before you even hit the fish dish. I used to think the way you do then we had a small plate wine bar open up and it is amazing how fast you get stuffed.
