The Kauai Movie Tours excursion on the morning of Day 2 in Kauai was wonderful, and I think the 12 year old would really like seeing where scenes from Jurassic Park were filmed.

 

On the Hilo side of the Big Island, Marylou's Big Island Tours was my favorite day of the trip. She runs the business with her husband Ken, and their son and son's fiance, who also do tours on the Kona side of the island. That's me in the picture inside the lava tube we walked through at Volcanoes National Park :D

We are using Marylou's Big Island Tours as well in two weeks, I can't wait!

we are headed to Hawaii on POA in two weeks. Interested in doing horseback riding in Kauai. Any recommendations? Not interested in doing excursion through the ship as it eliminates by 6 year old DD, who has experience riding.

Looking for some advice about planning a trip to Pearl Harbor. We are doing POA June 3-11 and will stay an extra few days in Honolulu. Debating about going to Pearl Harbor on Sunday the 12th with three children--10, 6, and 3. While my husband and I and probably our oldest would enjoy it, I am concerned abut the length of time we would spend out there and how entertaining it would be for the two youngest. The last thing anyone needs is a meltdown out there! Also, I know there are limits as to where i can bring a stroller and am wondering how that works--is it left in the visitor center while you go to the memorial?

I appreciate the information! We've been debating the value of just doing the ship's tour versus trying to secure a taxi for 2 adults and 3 kids.

We are going on Pride of America in June and are interested in doing a Molokini snorkel tour with Trilogy. Would it be easy for us to find transportation for five of us to Ma'alaea Harbor where Trilogy is based? I have heard that sometimes they provide charters for the same excursion booked through NCL, but I don't know if that is still accurate.

That's right, the Freedom has or is coming to Galveston?! Is she nearly identical to the Magic? I'm looking forward to this port having another 7 day Carnival option.

It's smaller than the Magic, but was recently refurbished. We sailed her several years ago our of Ft. Lauderdale and really enjoyed it. I will let you know how it is this time!
