Yes, we seen one payment made of one amount by our credit card. Then we switched to a cash account using our bank’s atm card which is also one of those MCs. The statement showed another payment using that, and then a final balance of like $800 which I thought was going to hit the bank/ATM-MC.

We just got back from our cruise on Friday and I’m looking for the charge to my accounts. Nothing shows up. We used credit card. Any ideas? Maybe someone charitable covered our bill?!?! 😂😂😂

Ok, thanks all.  As long as I have an "idea".  The last cruise I was on was in 2008, so I know things have changed.  Like I said, we did opt for drink package, which is the MOST IMPORTANT because it's one less recurring charge I have to worry about.  lol.

How much, on average, is recommended to have available on your credit card for a cruise? is there a suggested amount per day?

We are traveling in a group/family vacation, and some question has come up with “how much should I bring?” Having cruised before, I know there are a lot of variables that go into that. all of the adults did purchase the bar package, and it is not likely we will do any fancy restaurants or spa treatments other than what we paid for already. 

Im just looking to see if there is an average allowance one could project. BTW - we are going on the 11-night So. Caribbean Cruise in a couple weeks.

For anyone who has done the Shadowfax Lobster & Champagne Cruise --- please let me know your thoughts!!!

We are a group consisting of Mom & Dad in mid-40s, two late-70s grandma's (both can walk fine, or with some assistance to get on and off boat), two 6-year old girls.  What kind of problems, if any, do you foresee with our group doing the lobster cruise?  All love being on a boat and enjoying cocktails.  All love lobster (well the kids, maybe, but I'm not too worried about that).  Grandma's do not get in the water, and likely one of my daughters might give us a hard time, but that's fine as long as there is comfortable seating on the boat itself.  

Please let me know if there is any feedback on my idea to have my family on this cruise excursion.  Thanks.

Is a passport BOOK needed for a cruise leaving Florida and going around the southern Carribean islands?  We are not going to Cuba or Haiti, just the islands.  Would like to stick with a passport CARD for now since we are leaving in two months and I have to likely pay an expediting fee for the card for 4.  TIA.
