  1. My family and I have been to San Juan 3 times now and we've gone to the forts EVERYtime, I don't want to do that again. We will be traveling with 4 adults and 3 kids with all levels of age and ability or lack thereof. Ages range from 5 to 65. What else is there to do? Carnival's ship sponsered excursions are leaving much to be desired. Dies anyone have suggestions? We're there from 3-11

  2. April 17

Today I received in the mail my certificate for $300 Casino Cash for the cruise! I present it at the cashiers cage. Does anyone know if I get cash or if it is applied to my S&S card?

I also receive special boarding and embarkation. Of course, I've already purchased FTTF. I wonder if that is now wasted money?

I also get a Welcome Aboard cocktail party where we receive info about the special casino events, free drinks in the casino, Commemorative Players Club gift (SOAS?), and free tournaments.

    Can't wait!!!!!!!!

For our last cruise I received $50 casino cash and when I went to the casino desk they gave me cash. it was great!

We also used FTTF for this last cruise and it was worth EVERY PENNY!! The best part is being able to go straight to your cabin as soon as you get on board and drop off your carry ons! Also, you don't have to wait in line at the service desk or excursion desk - there's a special line on the side that - at least for me - never had anyone else waiting. You get dirty looks, but hey well! Plus you get off the boat first when arriving back at home port. I'm hoping to be able to score FTTF for our August Liberty cruise too!

  3. Looking for suggestions on what to do in Grand Turk with a four year old. Will be in port 1-6 with Carnival and the only thing listed for all ages for their excursions are bus trips or the beach. Thanks in advance!

  4. My DH and I are taking the rail and sail tour through carnival in St. Kitts with our three year old, who is considered a lap child (omg, my legs are going to die!). Just wondering if anyone has done this tour with a lap child. Will she be able to get the free soda? Will they have food for her to eat? Should we plan on bringing food and drinks for her? Thanks in advance for anyone's input. BTW, I called Carnival and they said there was no way to purchase a ticket for her because of her age.

  5. I have traveled with carnival all but one of my cruises. Each cruise with them has gone smoothly and we've never been disappointed with the service or facilities. Or last cruise to the Bahamas started as something nightmares are made of. Traveling with our 11 month old, the airline didn't get our bags on our plane during a connection. They didn't get out bags on the next two flights either. We had to get on the boat with an infant with no luggage. Though we hadn't purchase the two insurance, carnival was FANTASTIC to us. They percussed us with phone services to contact the airline to strange for our bags to be flown to the Bahamas, they gave us free t shirts, three free dry cleaning tickets, 50% off our purchase at the gift shop to buy clothes to sleep in and wear the next day, camp carnival provided us with diapers. Pretty much made the vacation 110% better. For that reason alone, we have become completely faithful to carnival, but every experience on board has been wonderful. Just like another poster mentioned - I'm not there for the entertainment, I'm there for the food and the itinerary. I live in NY, I can see a show at home.

  6. Was looking for feedback from anyone who has recently done this tour. My DH & I have done the land & sea combo on a previous cruise and the land portions didn't impress me enough to want to do them again. Carnival doesn't offer many options when traveling with a child (my DD is 3) on St. Lucia, so wondering about any other private excursion tours that do mostly boat/beach stops. Obviously we can't do anything that would include open waters norkling, but beach stops work for us. Also could be interested in a whale watching tour.
