  1. let me ask you a question....why would you want anyone and everyone to see you and your wife doing private stuff on the balcony of a ship? As far as I'm concerned, if your going to do private stuff on the balcony, you my as well just do it outside the doors of your room........

I don't think the OP was wanting to know if there will be privacy because they WANT people to hear or see them. I think they want privacy and were asking if they would have it.

  2. Oh hadn't thought of that.. that would suck.. all excited to get romantic on the balcony and feel like you have the whole ocean to yourselves... and then you hear the lovely sound of children playing on the balcony next door. Ugh. That would not be cool. Well for this giant guiness book balcony "gang bang" we're all planning here, NO CHILDREN ALLOWED. Duh!

  3. All points considered, it seems vertical may be the best option! LOL!

    > Hanging over the railing will be recorded. Let's hope it doesn't appear on the ship's closed circuit TV

    > Find out if the deck furniture is ever sanitized

    > Most of all, enjoy your romantic get-a-way and becoming a member of the "Balcony Club" !!!! ;)

    Just bring Lysol! :D

  4. Okay, as an old woman, know what comes to my mind 1st thing? Not that anyone could see us (like who' WANT to?) or whether or not it is appropriate (hey, it's my balcony so I can do pretty much what I want) but the fact is how damned UNCOMFORTABLE it would be on that little balcony! I can't imagine using the balcony when a perfectly comfortable bed is 3 feet away!

And hey, if I wanna feel that ocean breeze, I'll just leave the balcony door open, and crack my main cabin door and hold on to hubby for dear life when the wind tunnel starts! :D

LOL!! That's too funny :D I love the wind tunnel idea!

  5. Haha I say go for it! If people really want to crane their necks and risk falling overboard to look around the wall.. then more power to them. My boyfriend and I are going on our first cruise, a balcony, and our 3 year anniversary, so I'm thinking the same thing you are. So I say go for it! :D

I do want to add that I wouldn't recommend partaking in your activities on the rail... that wouldn't be a very "happy" ending...
