We prefer Seabourn over the other small luxury lines. Super upscale, gay friendly, gourmet dining, smaller ships. We just returned from Antarctica and noticed several younger couples in their 30’s and 40’s. Endless champagne and caviar, over the top service, etc. Usually one or two LGBT gatherings, which is nice in meeting others.
We too prefer Seabourn over other luxury cruise lines. After one Seabourn experience, you will never want to cruise with anyone else. When stepping onboard we always feel we are home.

Cool, Greg. Now that's a FOD party waiting to happen.
See you onboard, Randy

Is there already a thread for this cruise, if not is anyone else on this cruise?

Besides Antartica, one of the best tour I've ever taken was the full day excursion to Patagonia and Torres del Paine National Park.
A flight to and from Patagonia and a bus tour of Torres del Paine National Park with stunning scenery and wildlife with lunch at a lodge on a lake with view of Fitz Roy-Cerro Torre Peaks. It may look pricey, but worth it.
Enjoy your cruise, it's a incredible experience you will never forget.

give discounts on these cruises when services are cut(ie the dining room closed for lunch)???? Funny that it seems there is the 2 definitions of luxury....Luxury & Seabourn Luxury!
Seabourn like McDonalds is cutting menu choices & perhaps Seabourn will install drive thru windows for dining.....
What's McDonalds?

Why is it people are quick to believe something negative but suspicious when it's positive? We see so much complaining on these boards it's a pleasure and relief to see a rave.
Agree 100% wripro. Here's to the Greatest Cruise on 21st!

I'll be on that sailing, Martita. Thanks for the info. I look forward to the food, as always. And it is March 21, St. Martin to Barcelona.
Wripro,
Have you heard who the Captain, CD or the HM will be on the final crossing?
Only 3 week away.

I find that on the first few days of a cruise passengers say the service is wonderful, the food is wonderful and as the days (7+) on the cruise go on then they start complaining the service isn't that good, the food isn't that wonderful and they have been on better cruises.
Then when they get home they realize how good they had it.
For me the Best Cruise is the one I'm on.

I too have found Seabourn crew and passengers to be "gay friendly", no matter if I'm traveling with my SO or solo. Each of my 7 cruises on SB seems to be the best. So good that I booked the 21 day Antarctic cruise. Give it a go, enjoy yourselves and other you meet. Some very interesting characters that cruise on SB.

WoW, thanks for the wonderful update on your trip. I'm reliving all my Seabourn cruises thru you.
Can't wait to join the Sojourn on my Alaska adventure.
Keep being spoiled by Seabourn, enjoy!
