  1. hi,

We were originally booked on a Eurodam repositioning cruise from Quebec City to Fort Everglades and then staying on for a 14 day Western/Eastern Caribbran cruise. However the Eastern portion was chartered and we were bumped off. So with the Western portion still good (or so we thought), we booked a 10 day Southern Caribbean on the Noordam.

Shortly after we booked the Noordam, we learned that the Western portion on the Eurodam was also chartered, so we were left with an 8 day gap between the Eurodam and the Noordam. There was nothing we could find with HAL so we are now booked one the Allure of the Seas for a 7 day Eastern Caribbean. My question is about the distance between the Allure terminal and the HAL terminal. We get off the Eurodam and get on the Allure the same day. Can we walk over to the other terminal with our luggage or do we need to take a cab?

  2. We were booked on this cruise as we'll. I am mobility challenged , so I need to book cruises as far out as possible in order to get one of the few accessible staterooms that are available. It's very disappointing, but we have scrambled and are booking a 10 day Southern Caribbean on the Noordam to replace the cancelled Eastern leg.

  3. Called HAL and after about an hour on the phone with 3 different people, ended up with a very helpful gentleman. He couldn't see our bookings either, although his software let him know that we had 2 active bookings. He was at a bit of a loss to explain this glitch. He gave us his direct number and if things are not resolved by tomorrow morning, we'll give him a call and carry on from there.

  4. Is anyone else having trouble accessing their reservations on the HAL website? Our reservations have dropped off the face of the Earth and when I plug in our booking numbers it can't find them. I know when they do maintenance on the website you often can't access your reservations, but usually there's a warning on the website.

  5. Sorry you had issues. We just sailed 37 days on the Zuiderdam getting off October 28, and we had a terrific time. We noticed some decline in food quality in the Lido, but nothing to stop us from returning to her. I do know on other times we have sailed on her others have not had an enjoyable time while we were extremely happy with our time on her. Luck of the draw I guess. I would still recommend her.
