Thanks for the live reports and photos of the menu and patters. We board the Emerald in one week for our first Princess cruise and this has been very informative as to what to expect, dining plans etc.

We are sailing with Princess for the first time March 15th on Emerald. We booked a Balcony guarantee on Nov. 12th. We made our final payment Dec. 30th and on January 3rd, I logged in and noticed we had our cabin assignment midship on the Caribe deck. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased.

I have done guarantees on Carnival and Royal before, but in those cases we did not know what cabin we had until we arrived at the ship, we also ended up with some of the least desirable cabins, not that we cared too much.

So for now, Princess is impressing us.
