I’m pricing up a Caribbean cruise on Britannia and was wondering, if I choose a cabin directly above a bar or restaurant, am I likely to hear any noise from the said bar or restaurant at night. We have only ever had a cabin between other cabins in the past, so have no experience of this.

I’ve no idea which berth we are sailing from, at the moment all I know is we are sailing from Southampton in May next year on the Anthem of the Seas.
Thanks for your suggestions , it seems to be too far out to get a price yet.

Hi, I’m looking for recommendations for hotels that will provide parking for the duration of our cruise . We have caught a coach down in the past but have decided to drive ourselves down the day before and have the night in Southampton pre cruise. I know there are hotels that offer the above. Thanks in advance

I really like Disney Wish and Disney Star. How about Disney Welcome or Disney Reflection or Disney Fairytale.

Thanks :)

We are cruising to Bermuda on the Escape in September. When we leave the ship to go to a beach, can we take the ships pool towels off the ship with us or do we have to take our own?

Thanks both, that's what I thought but wanted to check before I booked.

In the UK NCL offer a Premium all inclusive fare. For anyone that has been on a cruise with this offer, what exactly do you get. The ad is a bit vague, it says premium drinks package and gratuities and service charge. Does the free service charge include the daily service charge of $13?

Mixed replies, what I was expecting really. We sailed on the Allure a couple of years ago and I couldn't stay in the casino for more than a couple of minutes because of the smoke. I never smelt it anywhere else though, which is my concern.

I'm close to booking a Caribbean cruise on NCL Getaway. We are both non smokers and having read the description of the ship on here, it says that smoke can drift from the casino to other public areas. This is putting me off booking. Have any other non smokers sailed on her and did you encounter this problem.

Wow Jim, that was one great review. We are sailing around the Med on the Allure next year, you've really whetted my appetite for it.
Thanks for taking the time to put together such an informative review.

You certainly can. Not swimwear, though, and you've got to wear a top, e.g. t-shirt, or polo.
The evening dress code usually applies from 6pm (or thereabouts) onwards.
That's great, thanks.

I've been reading this thread with interest. We have only been on one cruise, with NCL, so there was no dress code as such. I am considering booking a cruise with P&O next year on the Britannia. I presume the dress code is for the evening only and that you can go into the buffet during the day in shorts.

Great start. I will be reading this with interest as we are considering going on this ship next year.
We have just got back from our first cruise, which was on the Epic, it will be interesting to see how the two compare.

Thanks to everyone involved in putting this together. We go on our first ever cruise shortly and it will be most helpful.

As a dog lover and having been through it myself, I feel your pain.
Many thanks for doing this. We are on the Epic on our first ever cruise in Sept and your photos and reports are a big help in letting us know what to expect.
