  1. Hello,

They'll be 15 us us on the Harmony which sails on 1/14/17. My kids who are in their 20's my parents\in-laws in there 70's and us who are in our 40's and some cousins.

We've already booked some cabanas on Labadee and a few specialty dinners.

I never know how many times this group will be able to cruise together so I'm looking for special things to do on board the ship.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the help!

  2. I've reserved 3 cabanas on Nellie's beach for our upcoming trip. Two over the water and one on the beach.

There is a group in our trip that are over 70 so I got them the one on the beach. The rest of us are in our 20's and 40's and will use the over the water ones. Probably # 2,3 or 4 below.

It looks like the closest beach cabana is #10 on the other side of the beach. Is this correct? Is their a beach cabana closer to 2,3,4? Or are all 10 of these considered over the water and there's more I don't know about.

    Thanks!

  3. I have booked 3 cabanas for a larege group (15) on an upcoming trip in Jan '17. The group has some folks in their 20s, 40s and 70s. One of the 70 year olds needs a wheelchair to get around and is a little hesitant to join us. He can transfer out of the chair but has trouble walking and can't walk long distances.

I booked 2 over the water and 1 beach cabana for the day. I've never been to Labadee so I' m looking for some specific answers so I can make everyone comforatble with the decision.

    1. When we step off the ship onto the peir how far are the golf cart shuttles?

    2. Will they take all 15 of us?

    3. The 70 year olds will be in the beach cabana. Can the shuttle bring them right to the cabana?

    4. Is lunch included and how far a walk is it?

    5. I read that there are wheelchairs with big wheels for the sand. Can you use one for the day or is it just to move people from place to place?

    Thanks in advance!

  4. So if I get a 5 device package for to cover the whole family staying in 3 cabins do I get 5 unique login id's I can assign to people?

Or do we just use the folio number and it keeps track of how many active devices there are online for the folio number at one time?

What happens when the 6th device tries to log on? Do they get a warning that someone will be logged off?

    Thanks.

  5. Our kids and their significant others are coming on a cruise with us. The 4 of them are sharing a cabin.

Because of the 123Go promotion and some other problem we've encountered with Celebrity there's currently $600 of OBC for their cabin.

Can that $150 be equally assigned to each of their seapass cards or will they have to manage that themselves?

    Thanks!

  6. So we've booked 4 balconies on the hump - 8th deck on the port side starting with 8259.

In some pictures the big "X" can be seen on the side of the ship and with other pictures I don't see it.

Also I watched the Silhouette on the Port Everglades web cam this weekend sail out of port and could not see the X.

I ask because it looked like one of our balconies was going to have an obstructed view becasue of the X. Now I'm not sure.

Did they remove the X or am I just crazy?

  7. Just checked in my Celebrity cruise summary. I went into speciality dining at the top of the page, and then down to alcoves sea days. Unfortunately it says there that this is no longer available online and to enquire when onboard. Hope this helps.

When is your cruise? When I go to Specialty Dining nothing shows. Not even the dining.

    Maybe it's just too soon.

  8. We're going to be on the Silhouette 1/4/15.

I've heard about the alcoves - good and bad - and decided to book one for one of our sea days.

How far in advance can you book these?

I've heard that it's best to call Celebrity and book through Specialty Dinning. Can these be booked online or only by calling?

    Thanks.

  9. We are cruising Celebrity for the first time on the Silhouette next January 4th.

We are looking for ideas for our day in San Juan. The ship docks at 3:30pm so daylight will be an issue.

We've never been there so we're open to anything but we have one person in our group, my dad, that's will be in a wheelchair. He can transfer, the chair is foldable and he can walk short distances.

Any ideas? I'm think some time at a fort. Which one and can we get there easily from the pier.

    Thanks!!

  11. Thanks for the reply.

We are sailing on 1/4/15 I called Celebrity and they told me I coun't book them until 3 months from the cruise. That seems to be different from what I'm reading here. Some people seem to have boked them much ealier than that.

Is there a specific number to call?

  12. We are a group of 10. If I reserve 2 alcoves are there any restrictions with the amount of people who "hang out" in the alcoves?

Are there only 4 lounge chairs? I would imagine some of us can lay on blackets if there's not enough chairs.

Whats the best way to book them?

    Thanks!
