  1. We have gone on two Aquafest cruises. 2009 Alaska cruise and the 2011 Halloween 10th anniversary cruise. They were both excellent and the staff goes out of their way to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time. We are planning on the 2013 Halloween cruise.

Tom Baker and his partner Marc are excellent hosts. The Alaska cruise was a much smaller group between 75-100. The Halloween cruise was their largest with a group size of over 500 and a large staff to help with the group. They also bring some of their own entertainment which has yet to disappoint us. I was surprised how well the very large group of gay men and women were received on the ship. Quite a few people we met who were not with the group were trying to find a way to attend our parties. A few may have succeeded but for the most part they are private and wristbands are checked at the entrances. Of course the best parties are the open bar parties, there were two on each cruise.

We are looking forward to joining the Aquafest group again, for Halloween 2013.

  2. We have a flight leaving at 5 pm from New Orleans heading back to Indy. Any suggestions on what to do with our luggage for the day. Everything I have read states that the BAGS program is not available in New Orleans. We will have a dive bag and a suitcase that we will need to take care of before we go explore the city. Our carry-ons will be a backpack each so they can stay with us. Any suggestions.

If you google the Port of New Orleans, under the cruise tab, you will find information on a baggage transfer service which has a service desk in the passenger cruise terminal. According to the site, they will deliver your bags from the cruise terminal to the airport.
