  1. I love the virgin drinks, I wish Carnival had a drink package that included them like Princess. It was just a little more than the soda package and you got all of the virgin drinks you wanted.

    So do I.

Bartender on the Fascination corrected me when I ordered a virgin kiss on the lips... it is a: "Innocent Kiss on the Lips"

  2. We did it last week on the Fascination and it was truly one of my favorite experiences. Just amazing. I don't drink and my wife is only good for a glass maybe but if you drink the champagne and wine are flowing.

For some people it may not be a big deal but for this ol country meat and tater guy I have never seen food or knew that food could taste like that. Truly a memorable experience.

  3. yep 5AM.

Last week I forgot to hang ours out, woke up about 2:30 and remembered. So I hung it out but forgot to set the alarm or tell my wife that room service was coming at 7:00. knock knock knock... knock knock knock... room service.... knock knock knock... finally my wife shakes me and ask did I order room service... uh yeah... sorry honey.

  4. both posters nailed it. We were on the Fascination last week. The rear dining balcony is awesome. Why more folks don't use it I don't know but we loved it.

The front area in front of the sport deck overlooking the bow was great also. Watched dozens of dolphins racing and dancing in front of the boat on our 1st sea day. Just magical.

We did the Chef's Table and while at first I was hesitant I must say it was incredible. I am a basic meat and tater guy so I didn't think my palate would be worthy but I agreed to anyway cause my wife wanted to.

It was AMAZING. An evening that we will never forget.

Have fun and enjoy your cruise. We found the Fascination to be great, it was a wonderful but all to short a week.

  5. we were on the Fascination last week, the 12th thru the 17th. Our cabin was E125 an Ocean View and we found it to be very satisfactory. The beds were set as a king and it gave us plenty of walkaround space. The 3 closets and 4 drawers were enough room to store our clothes. The bathroom was small but fine. I loved the location, about mid ship and just a few doors down from the stairs and elevator, or right down the hall to the main atrium.

Sorry the poster above got sick.

My main complaint: the whole trip went by way too quick.

  6. I am missing something here, what is the Chefs table?

    THE CHEF'S TABLE

Treat your taste buds to the experience of a lifetime, culminating in a sumptuous multicourse dinner hosted by one of our master chefs. Your VIP experience starts with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres for a select group of 14, followed by a tour to see the galley in operation. The evening concludes with a mind-blowing full-service dinner of amazing appetizers, entrees and desserts not found on our regular dining menus.

Tip: Reserve early because this once-in-a-lifetime experience has limited seating. Reservations can be made at the ship’s Guest Services desk.

  8. We sail out of Jacksonville on the Fascination next Saturday (how good it feels to type that!) and I am keeping my eye own the all the action coming out of West Africa.

    Can't do anything about it....

Here is to hoping all of you have smooth waters and sunny days on your cruise!

  9. Last October we were to cruise to the Eastern Caribbean aboard the Caribbean Princess but got rerouted by Hurricane Gonzalo. So we went to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. ... the weather was perfect.

Was very disappointed about missing St Maarten, St Thomas and Grand Turk but we ended up having a fantastic first voyage.
