Sailing Enchanted in May and booking excursions. Is there a reason why San Juan only has 8 excursions with 5 of them including the forts? We have been there, done that and had hoped for something a little different. Out of curiosity I checked with a well known tour operator and found 50+ for day we are in port. What’s going on?

I have D4 holding for full payment tomorrow but it is guaranteed only. I can move up to mini suite and pick a cabin for about $300 more total. My worry on guarantee is according to deck plans most D4 are forward or aft facing.  Concerned about noise from clubs and public areas.  Has anyone stayed in both? Likes and dislikes? Thanks for your help and advice!

Maybe I’m not looking in the right place but where can I find the main dining room menus for 7 night Eastern itinerary? Trying to plan our specialty dining. Is there a lobster night? Thanks in advance

I’ve searched the boards best I can and cannot find the answer to a very hot topic in the US.  Is CBD oil ( not TCH) allowed on the ship by customs? Will it clear on return? I take a relatively low dose for fibromyalgia. It makes a difference for me and I would really love to bring it on board when we sail on The Equinox in August. Any advice or experience would be helpful. Thank you!

Thanks for the great review. DD and I are trying to decide between Magic and Breeze. This has helped us. Question regarding the smoking...was the smoking on one side of deck 7 or both? Also did you book Infinity Resort directly or through a company. Might be a nice surprise for DD celebrating her Master’s degree 😊

Booking Magic for August sailing and it’s been a few years since we’ve been in Carnival. How much is it now pp? Still early cabin access, tender, debarkation? Anything I missed?

We got there super early! We got to port around 9:45. Only our second cruise on NCL. Their suites and uber high tiers go first then those needing assistance then Group numbers start. We were on by 11:15.

Does anyone know the best way to get to Headliner from terminal B?

Just got off Getaway. You should board deck 7 casino area. People flow to left and you should see curved glass stairway leading to lower deck 6. Land right at headliners to your left. Beware there are only 60 passes. We were in group 1 and got 34 & 35

Thanks for your detailed review. We love Royal but gave NCL a try two yrs ago on the Epic. It wasn’t terrible (except for the cabin bathroom layout [emoji15]) but definitely wasn’t what we were used to. Everyone has their likes and dislikes about all the different lines but I feel like Royal is a great middle of the road line in all aspects.

First time on the Getaway and only our 2nd NCL Cruise. Very interested in Vibe as we are in our early 50’s and looking for a more peaceful area. What deck is embarkation? Curious if I need to do some training in order to get to guest services quickly [emoji23][emoji23] Seriously, though, we are staying at Doubletree Brickell and plan to be at port by 9:30.

We had a Boardwalk balcony on the Oasis in February. We actually enjoyed it. We were on deck 7 about midway down so we could get glimpses of show,and ocean. It was great for people watching. The noise was not as bad as I had anticipated. Just remember to close your curtains for privacy [emoji41]

We received our cabin assignment, BB 9250, which puts us right above the Sugar Cane Bar. Is it possible to call NCL (booked online) and change our cabin if another BB is available? I see several available on Deck 10

Just received our cabin assignment for Balcony gty. Looks like it is right above either the shops or the Sugarcane area of the waterfront. Has anyone stayed in the area? Is it very noisy?

When you are nearing the end of this life with family by your side I promise you will not be thinking :boy..I'm sure glad I was able to save that extra $700 from the cruise I took 5 years back" no way...so thats why i say go for it...spend the money..get the upgrade..you work hard...you deserve it..live a little..you will always have debt..you will always have ebs and flows of money in your lifetime..see the world while your legs are strong and you knees are sturdy.

This is only our 2nd NCL cruise (first was Epic and not a great experience) and first on Getaway. We booked in at cat BD to receive all 5 “perks” for Sept 30 sailing. Right now we have guarantee but received the invite to bid for an upgrade. I have no clue what is a reasonable bid for which categories. Thinking spa or mini suite? This is our 30th Anniversary year so that would be pretty special. Thanks in advance for any and all advice[emoji4]

How long does it typically take to receive C & A credit for a recent cruise? We sailed 2/11/18 on the Oasis and as of today still am not showing credit for it. Prior to cruise I was 2 pts away from Emerald. I know there isn't much difference between Platinum and Emerald for benefits but it means I am getting closer to Diamond!
