I was onboard on February 1st and took pictures of the activities on days 3-10 to carry with me throughout the day so I would know where I wanted to be and when. I think I still have the photos on my phone but not sure that I can post them.

Update: we are onboard and just measured our aft balcony (room 10668). It is 7'10" deep and 10'9" wide. It has two loungers, a chair and a table on it. We are so glad we did not listen to our PCC.

What about Uber? We have a car service dropping us off but thought we would use Uber to pick us up after the cruise. Any thoughts?

Thanks everybody. I believe the cruise critic knowledge here. Has anyone else stayed in that room and have pics?

We booked it but he thinks we are crazy because they are no larger than a side balcony. In fairness, he's just going by what it says in his system.

We are on the phone now and he still insists they are small. Is it possible they have changed?

Our PCC insists that 10668 is a small size balcony - the same as the side balconies. Is that true? It seems to me they would be larger.

My mom just arrived back in NYC this morning. She is already off the ship and on her way to the airport. She said it was very efficient.

Thank you! How did you find the car service..did you reserve this ahead of time. Ive never done that before. This sounds like a great idea!
Super easy to reserve ahead of time. They send you a text when the car is on its way and when it arrives. We also found a coupon online that saved a little bit. Nice comfy cars, pleasant drivers.

We used Ground Link also. Door-to-door service both ways. Awesome!

What was the hotel.. how did you get to the pier?
Thanks!
It was the Hilton Garden Inn. We took a car service. Came out much cheaper than parking anywhere in the city.

We parked at a hotel in Secaucus for free for our 12 day on the Breakaway. Only 15 minutes to the pier. They had a covered parking garage so no issues with snow and ice. I would absolutely do it that way again.

"The difference between these suites and a regular balcony is location of the cabin and the bathrooms. The room itself and balcony (unless you specifically book a "large balcony" in these categories) are identical in shape and size to a balcony cabin. The mini and spa suites have a slightly larger bathroom."
No, the difference is the Haven lounge, restaurant a private pool area. It is amazing and beautiful. So relaxing and quiet. An amazing place to escape the crowds.

We stayed in cabin 15120. The hallway is key card access only and very quiet. The room was nicely located near the staircase up to the Haven lounge and not far down the hallway from the locked access door. We really enjoyed this room?

We also were on the January 5-17 Breakaway sailing and in the Haven. No problem getting a porter, our luggage or meeting our car directly outside the port. No need to cross the street and no problems. It's funny how different folks have different experiences!

One of the employees recommended the white chocolate mousse treat. It looked like a little cake but was completely amazing. Just about the best thing I've had on a cruise ship! Not very big but we would never have chosen it if it wasn't suggested to us. Yummy!

San Juan Food and Culture Tour is an option. It is very well reviewed online. We had booked this tour for our last week's arrival aboard the Breakaway. Unfortunately we were unable to complete the tour. We were given gift certificates and have listed them on eBay at significant savings. Just search Flavors of San Juan Food Tour on eBay and check out their website. It seems that a lot of people really enjoy it.

Enjoying this along with everyone else. I haven't seen the cost of the shows anywhere. Can anyone fill me in? Thanks in advance.

We had six visitors to Roatan on 12/24/08 off the Carnival Valor. We reserved a van with Victor Bodden and had a great day. Yes, they took us to any shop we wanted, and to see the monkeys and iguanas and to a great relaxing beachfront restaurant and some other scenic spots. And everyone enjoyed it all very much. But here is what really impressed me about this company: our driver Marty- who was very personable and attentive- had an unexpected and unavoidable family matter to attend to during our visit. The company quickly provided not one, but two excellent replacement drivers to make sure we had seamless coverage and that our touring was not affected until Marty rejoined us after just a short while, and Victor personally met with us to make sure we were comfortable- which we certainly were! I wish you could get that kind of customer service here in the states!! I am very happy to recommend this operator as the best possible way to get the most out of your visit to Roatan!

Ok! You convinced me. We had one booked for a sea day on the Reflection in April. You all make excellent points. We have cancelled it. I’ll spend my OBC on something else.
