This was the best river cruise we've taken. We went in Oct. when the grapes were being harvested. We visited several winerys, and at 1 we picked & stomped grapes. It was so much fun and beautiful. We've taken several trips with Vantage travel out of Boston. Jan

Do I need to use Vantage Travel on the Norway cruise? Am I able to see all I want to see by myself on the Hurtigruten? What advantages would I have to use a travel company if I use the Hurtigruten on the coast of Norway? Thanks for any help. Its a once in a lifetime trip so I want to get the most out of my time in Norway. Also, is September a good time to visit the coast of Norway? Thanks, Jan :)
