We will be finishing our cruise next year in Monte Carlo. Would like to stay a couple days in the area, but MC seems very extravagant and above our budget
Any suggestions where we could get to easily and spend a couple days after our cruise? thanks in advance for any help

We are looking at a June 2015 trip that includes the Amalfi coast. My question:
Is a cruise a good way to do this or should we just look at doing a trip to the Amalfi coast spending a week there?
Thanks in advance for your assistance

If you do get to Sitka book yourself with Capt Davey. Small boat and great tour.
He's the best!

Sugar Mill was very good!

There are some really good restaurants there if you would like a leisurely lunch. We found it difficult to navigate the roads there- many steep, hairpin turns not well marked. Worth a cab ride

thanks Royal cruz. And thanks for not telling me I could have found this myself! It was the Hyatt Place.

I found a *** hotel near Port Everglades that I believe is the Hyatt Place for $82. Gets high ratings. Checked Hotels.com and it lists HP as 3*. Any other clues before I book? Thanks very much

Thanks for the quick responsed to my inquiry about the Renaissance. I canceled and booked the Marriott Pinnacle which seems to get better reviews.

We are using our marriott points for 2 day pre-cruise in Vancouver. Which hotel would you recommend more highly- Marriott Pinnacle or Renaissance? Trip advisor has both good and not so good reviews for both. Thanks very much

The $40 bid was for June 28. We are arriving in Vancouver, but flying our of Seattle because of the lower cost flights from PHL:);)

In March, I booked an Oceania thru Marriott Cruises Only for June 2015. We changed our minds and I called to cancel. $100 fee sounded ok but then agent told me that the amt paid for trip ins was not refundable $600+ ! When I asked for further info, she said if I had read my contract (in 5ptfont) I would have seen that I only had 10 days from issue to cancel. OK, my bad but she never alerted me to this which I think a good TA would do.
This policy seems absurd when you are booking over a year ahead there may be a chance something comes up (other than illness) and you need to cancel. You don't need the insurance at time of booking
Is this common policy? Any recourse? Thanks
