I am in the planning stages here and I had a thought about the beds before pursuing this idea. Looked at one itinerary that is on the oosterdam. the veranda does not have a sofa bed but the suite has. This looks more comfy. I was wondering if the sofa bed was good. So if mom was ok with it then it should be ok. Just checking the size and the comfort level. thanks for that information it was helpful.

thanks I have looked on the cabin plans helpful but wanted more of a personal generic nature. Also, taking my 3rd cruise I have felt that most cabins are generic nature. never slept on a sofa bed and wanted an opinion on this.

my sister, her friend and I want to share a veranda cabin. Not sure if this is a good idea because someone will have to sleep on rollaway couch. I think we may bumping into each other. any suggestions? how big is this cabin?

when I will be in Juneau I want to go on the Mt Roberts Tramway. I heard the cruise lines have special price tickets. Is that true or do you have to have an excursion booked there. Yes i am seeing an monopoly going Alaska and I haven't gotten off the ship.I will be sailing on The Eurodam on May 19th

My 2 sisters and I are planning the New England Cruise next summer. We will probably start in Boston with an extra day in Boston and maybe an extra day in Montreal. Questions.

Is it worth seeing Montreal? what is there to see in Montreal. We have been to Boston.I have lived there temporary once and I think my other sisters have not seen all of Boston. But they are anxious to see more of Boston than Montreal. but then again.... Another question is that i was thinking the suite would be better than one have to pay a room by themselves. Has anyone had a suite. Is it just one large room or there are separate rooms. We don't like being in the same bed so we would have to have 3 beds. What do you think?

What did you see when you went on this cruise? One sister is a lighthouse buff the other likes shopping. I would like to do both and see the countrysides. Any thoughts?

Looking at the excursions on CCL website there is an excursion for biking around the island. I like to bike but on one review it was stated that the bikes were in bad shape. I am a female small person (5'1") can I get a bike this size and I am particular about my bikes. Has anyone gone on a bike ride. What were your experiences? I can't lay around all day. Need to explore.
