The bridge in the TV series is not that one, it runs between Malmo and an artificial island near to Copenhagen. The last couple of miles from the island to Denmark the highway/railway runs through a tunnel. As we docked in Copenhagen on our way home I don't think we would have gone under the Great Belt bridge on the way home, may have done on the way out from Bruges to Stockholm though.
It is THIS one.

Answering my own question here.;)
I have just had a look at Google Earth and it appears as though the western end of this highway disappears into a tunnel, so we may have sailed over it.

My wife is a big fan of the Nordic crime TV programme The Bridge. We sailed on the Eclipse last year on a Baltic cruise. Did we sail under 'The Bridge' on our way out of the Baltic?
I'm guessing it was very late at night or in the wee small hours but SWMBO insists we didn't sail under it.

Do hope it turns up, a real bummer and no mistake. I once had bags go missing on a flight from London to Manchester, they turned up three days later.
Did have a funny experience in Rome airport though. All our bags have security tags with a free phone number on them, securely attached with leather straps. We returned to Rome from a Celebrity cruise in 2009 and although our luggage was not mislaid, all three of our special security tags had been removed at the airport. We never did get any explanation for this???

After doing four cruises in around 14 months we intended to catch our breath this year. Also spent over £10k on new windows, doors etc so did not plan to take a holiday this year, but as the dreadful summer weather has continued unabated we have been overcome with a touch of the 'John Masefield's' once again.:D

Attached is the updated spreadsheet as of 4/9/09.
Fantastic, saved me having to trawl through all 20 pages. ;)
Just back from Eastern Med.
Deck. 11.
Cabin 1551.
Class. Aqua class.
Side. Port.
Bed. In middle.
Noise. Quiet, apart from adjacent cabin doors being slammed occasionally.
Balcony View. Dreadful. http://pictures.cruisecritic.com/showphoto.php?photo=11163&cat=519
Balcony size. Smallish.
Wind. not a problem.
No other specific problems.
Other comments. After two cruises on the Independence of the Seas in D/E class cabins we found this one a bit cramped in comparison.
Would go back onboard in a flash though. Ship, food, staff and the all important weather was fantastic.

As I have only ever seen Graham Seymour its difficult to compare, must say though that he was excellent, very droll and sarcastic, just how I like em, ;):)

My question is - when do they announce who will be the Cruise Director and where do you find out? We had Graham Seymour last year and he was just fantastic. Brilliant sense of humour.
I couldn't agree more, we did I.O.S August and October last year and he was very good, a typical laconic, sarcastic, ironic 'British' sense of humour, I loved it, especially his morning TV show.:D
Will be looking to go on I.O.S later in the year, I do hope Graham is back on board.

The laundry service is completely free, at least it is when the waiter spills red wine all over your wifes pure white trousers.:)

THESE multi way adaptors are great. I always throw a couple in my case.
Re the food on Indy. I found the portions adequate, but then I did want room for my sweet.
The waiters would always bring extra helpings of anything. There were two rather large Germans on the table next to ours, they always had two different starters and often two or three sweets.:)

Of those four I would say that the Canary Islands Sept 02 would be your best bet.

The decision on whether to take a ship's tour or a private one has to be taken carefully. We always look at the security element and think of the worst case scenario. The ship will no wait for you if you are lete arriving from a private tour, but will guarantee a ship's tour.
Of course you could use The Irish Way to get back to the ship. :D

OK.... sorry..... we left from 10 and re-docked at 10.
Chuckle. It's still hard to miss!!
I wonder if gate 8 is for ABP parking  , still as you say, it does rather stand out. :D
-
It should be on your documents .... Gate / dock 10. You can't miss it. It has the biggest ship in the world there !!!
I think you will find that it is dock gate 8 ;) Unless they use more than one gate. It was gate 8 two months ago and my documents have gate 8 on them this time.

My wife used her UK straighteners on the ships 220 volt supply when we were on board in August, worked fine.

Hope this not to far OT.:o
I was just spending a quiet half hour looking at various ports on Google Earth when I noticed that there is a Freedom class vessel docked in Miami.
Sorry if this question has been asked elsewhere already but does anyone know if it is Freedom or Liberty of the Seas?
Map picture appears to be dated 17 Nov 2007.
Printed Xpres Pass, but confused...luggage tag?
in Celebrity Cruises

I have printed then laminated my own tags for last two cruises. E docs usually arrive a little later than 49 days due to booking through a TA who has a block of staterooms.
