  1. Can anyone share a bit more about parking at San Pedro World Cruise Teeminal? We will be driving in Wednesday morning and I'm concerned that the lot could be full. I'm not really sure how many people drive vs fly but I don't really know what we would do if we were turned away from the parking lot. has anyone ever arrived to a full lot? If so, what did you do? Is there alternative parking near by?

    Thank you

  2. Hello,

I have been on two princess cruises in the past - both 7 day Caribbean. My husband and I decided to give the 4 day California coastal a shot tho it since it's closer and wouldn't require so much time away from work. We are sailing the Golden (have previously sailed emerald). Aside from being shorter and not being Caribbean, what other big differences will I notice? Is there anything they cut or add for these 4 day cruises?

    Thanks !!

  3. I understand there are no formal nights on the 4 day coastal but I was wondering if they still have the captains night (with the champaign fountain set up). Is there anything else that doesn't happen on the 4 day? Pub lunch? Crab shack? Etc.

    Thanks!!!

  4. I think we will have to try the crowne grille. Why did they change Sabatinis? Was it a cost issue or do people prefer to just pick what they want? We loved the mix of hot and cold appetizers... But I guess all good things must come to an end

  5. Hello all,

My husband and I are going on a cruise for our five year anniversary! We soaked princess five years ago for our honeymoon. At that time, we were blown away by Sabatinis. I remember fretting over what to order and the waiter telling me not to worry about it. I just had to order an entree. He would just bring everything else out. We were there forever and it was a romantic and memorable experience. My understanding is that Sabatinis had changed quite a bit since then. Has it been a change for the better? I wonder if we should do the crown grille instead. I know things are never quite as magical as you remember them so some big terrible change might be a disappointment. If appreciate any insight or advice.

  6. Hello,

My husband and I will be driving from phoenix to San Pedro for a 4 day coastal cruise. We are trying to think of the best way to handle parking and would appreciate the advice of those who are more experienced.

We have a couple of options. We can do the park and cruise option at the local hotels. We've identified best western and doubletree as options. They seem ok but it's kind of vague how the park and cruise works. Has anyone done either?

Another option we were thinking of was staying at a place we love in yucca valley the night before and driving and parking at the terminal. Is San Pedro's parking safe? Any concerns with breaking or vandalism? Also, it looks like it's 2.5 hours from yucca to San Pedro. We are concerned about timing. I've hear traffic in California can be insane. Could it be enough to turn a 2.5 hour drive into a four hour one?

    Please share your thoughts.
