  1. I have several question that will guide my family one way or the other, when deciding between the cruise or park.

I remember a while back when I was researching cruises, people would often mention that they would be able to get the Mickey Ear Ice Creams in the restaurant and/or room service. Does this practice still occur?

At Castaway Key, do they charge extra to use the water slides, bikes or inner tubes?

Are the fireworks during the pirates night on a 4day, worth it?

    Thanks for any assistance!

  2. Thank you for the quick replies.

When we were on Princess, there wasn't even a bar that had a television to watch any type of sporting events. (This was during college football and NFL seasons)

The club at midnight, the "DJ" would put on pre-recorded tape and leave. After thirty minutes, it turned to smooth listening, shutting the place down for the night with still numerous people at the bar.

As I asked, we are not looking for the wild party cruise, but looking for more than the "sidewalks" to be rolled up after the last production show.

  3. Myself and group of friends are interested in traveling on a four day Celebrity Cruise in October. We are not interested in the Carnival crowds, but are looking for some night time activities, and a 40's clientele. Last year we traveled on Princess for a similar short cruise, but things closed up around 11pm. Would Celebrity similar to this or does it offer more?

  4. Many lines limit the amount of beverages you can use within a twenty-four hour period, doe this apply to Princess? My concern isn't alcoholic beverages, but if you have a couple of cups of coffee, some bottled water and then sodas you could be at you limit before dinner.

  5. We are going to be a group of friends from late 30s to early 40s, traveling on the four day trip to Cozemel from Ft. Lauderdale. Our concerns are that fellow passengers will be much older and mainly a couples cruise. We dont want the Carnival atmosphere, but would like some form of nightlife and a social side of the cruise. Can anyone help with their experiences.
