There are two clearance areas:
As you enter it says 13'5 for the drop-off area, then when you actually turn left up the ramp to park the crossbar is set to 8'2 - so 8'2 is your answer!
Thank you!!

I have searched the Internet far and wide (even tried calling the port but got into a loop on the phone) and cannot find this information. We have a car carrier for our SUV and are wondering what the clearance is for the Terminal 3 parking garage. If anyone knows, or if anyone has parked there with a car carrier on their SUV, please let me know! Thank you!

Be helpful if you said what port you are talking about. 😉

Oops! Sorry! I edited the topic with "Port Canaveral." And I will look for the other forum to post. Thanks!

Bolt was running nearly the entire time I cruised on MG. I do suggest people book it while in port since winds can cause a shut-down...and it's also less busy if some folks are still off-ship.
Does Bolt run on embarkation day? If so, what are generally the hours that day? What are generally the hours the other days?

The Carnival app works great! I wouldn’t purchase the full social media package because it never works. But the app itself is worth it.

Your husband and daughter can do that right at guest services when you get on and they will give them new cards for the correct room.
Awesome! Thank you!

We are booked the same way on our upcoming cruise. One of our kids will be 18 but they want an adult over 21 (or maybe it's over 25....can't remember) booked in the room with the kids. So my husband is assigned the room with the younger two and my 18-year-old is assigned with me. Of course our plan is to switch my husband and daughter. However both my husband and I are purchasing the Cheers package anyway so my only issue is that if I get extra cards, I wonder if he can transfer the drink package to the new card. If we simply just get extra keys, he would have to keep up with two keys. I would rather all the cards have charging privileges. Makes it easier.

We have been on this ship twice and will be on her again this December then the first week of April 2018 (she is leaving PC some time next year). Our favorite ship and we do not have the issues that some people have I guess for whatever reason. Hope you have a great trip!!!!!
We will be on your April 2018 sailing! :D

I love planning! I am very, very detailed ... but, I call it a "flexible schedule" because if something else comes up, we go with it.

The same thing happened to me when I logged in looking for a cruise last month. I HATED the shopping cart method. Not only would it not let me select my room, I couldn't choose 2 cabins at a time. (at least as far as I could tell) I kept trying to get back to the old method, but could not find an option to do that so I cleared my cache and returned to the carnival website. This time when it asked me if I wanted to try the new method I said "no" and it has not asked me again.x
I too clicked on "Try our new method" with the shopping cart today and it was horrible! You couldn't pick your cabins. So I also cleared my cache and went back to the website, and that time, when I received the pop-up again asking if I wanted to try it, I quickly clicked "No" and went on to book my cruise. :D They definitely have more work to do on that!

I'm back from the cruise and happy to report that cabin 2148 was great! Very quiet and clean! The only time we heard anything in the room was when we were docking back at Port Canaveral the last morning. There was a little noise and slight vibration but really not that much! It was a little bit of a walk from the elevators but overall the location was good!

I just got back and bought the Ultimate....it comes with a cup for the "refreshment" package not "replenish." Honestly the cup is a pain to carry around. My daughter never used hers and my son only used his once on the last night. They mostly just drank the water/tea that was included in the cruise price anyway. They didn't put a sticker on my daughter's card to indicate the refreshment package. They just gave her the cup.

Just off the Enchantment today. We registered our kids for Adventure Ocean but they never went! They had friends on-board so they all stayed in the pools and the hot tubs pretty much the entire time unless we were off the ship. I think if they didn't have friends with them they would have gone. But they just gravitated to the pools. I did see the pirate show the kids from AO did and apparently they had all kinds of different activities, but I can't help with first-hand information.

Same thing happened to me Friday. Both children kept receiving "incomplete" after I checked them in. I did it multiple times but it never worked. When I called they told me they were having issues with that and I will be fine with the set sail pass I already printed.

We got on today around 10:45 am. The Windjammer food was plentiful, good variety and excellent food. Bar service is also prompt and friendly. So worried after reading many reviews :). I'll write a review and post cruise compasses when we return.
Have fun! Hoping to hear a little about your trip before I go!
Awesome! We are sailing for the first time on Enchantment on 7/10! We booked a GTY X room and were assigned 7050 today. Any pros/cons about this deck/location?
We were also contemplating getting the Ultimate Beverage Package....glad to hear it's great! Do you tip additionally? I know gratuity is included but I think I will feel weird not tipping the bartender! :)
We are on the same sailing!

I've seen some posted here in the past for the 3-night cruise, but I'm going on the 3-night night in a few weeks so I'll try to copy and post them here when I return.

NO passenger deck is "right over the engines!!!" That's too funny! There are several decks below the lowest passenger deck....crew decks...storage space...then engines. You'll be fine
Thank you! That's why I asked! I could only find that one review on here! lol

I'll be on the ship Monday. I'll be glad to check it out for you to see if I notice anything if you want?
Thank you to everyone! And Clemson Cruiser, don't make a special trip to check, but if you happen to wander to deck 2 aft, just let me know!

I am sailing with a group and this was the cabin assigned to us. I am planning to call about other available cabins but not sure how successful I will be since it seems like a full sailing. I'm also not sure if they will help me since the group went through a TA. I'm trying to gather some feedback in case I'm stuck.

I only found one review for cabin 2148 on this ship and it says it is right over the engines so it's very noisy and there are vibrations. Does anyone have any input about this particular cabin or the cabins in this vicinity? It is on deck 2 aft.

Since "non-alcoholic" is listed under the "Alcohol Policy," my interpretation has always been that meant things like the non-alcoholic beers (e.g. O'Douls) etc. So I looked up the definition of non-alcoholic in several places and came up with the following common definition:
"Alcohol-free, or non-alcoholic beverages, are non-alcoholic versions of typically alcoholic beverages, such as beer and cocktails. These may take the form of a non-alcoholic mixed drink (a "virgin drink"), non-alcoholic beer ("near beer") and "mocktails", and are widely available where alcoholic beverages are sold."
So based on that, I would think water is allowed. Disney Cruise line spells it out much more clearly and adds "Beverages must be packed in your carry-on bag—which must not exceed 22 inches wide, 14 inches high and 9 inches deep in dimension."
BUT....technically non-alcoholic does means "without alcohol" .... and had RCCL stated that word elsewhere and not under the alcohol policy section, my interpretation would be different.
Sounds like RCCL needs to update their policies and specifically state "water" since it's open to interpretation.

Does anyone have other suggestions to keep the curtain off of you that might work?
Are the sides of the shower magnetic at all so maybe magnets will work?
...Or duct tape/putty?
...Or a heavier curtain from home similar to the idea mentioned above?
...Or can you just leave the curtain open ... or will that create a bigger mess?
It's my understanding that the curtain does nothing to prevent water on the floor anyway.
I'm just trying to pre-plan something to bring that will help.

We'll be on the July 10th sailing on the Enchantment and would love to see the recent three day compasses......anyone have any they can share.
Thanks,
Amy
We are on the same sailing! :)
Parking Garage Clearance - Terminal 3 - Port Canaveral
in Florida Departures
Posted
Just coming back to say our Hyundai Palisade with our Thule car carrier fit in the Terminal 3 Port Canaveral parking garage perfectly! I wanted to add this comment in case someone in the future does a search like this. Not sure if it would fit in other garages, but the 8'2" clearance was fine!
