  1. Does anyone have any pictures or have you rented the Bungalows in Haiti? I usually go with a cabana but they are sold out (as of now). I booked the bungalow but can't find any pictures other than the ones on royals site. I'd love any input. Will I be disappointed? Is it similar so I'll be glad I saved some $$?

    Thanks!

  2. As a Dive Master and someone who has seen these courses being taught on the ships...please....please find your local dive shop and get a good education. In my opinion diving is one of lifes greatest pleasures; with that being said it carries inherent risk and should be taught, studied and learnt with more respect than I have ever seen it given on the ships. Just my 2 cents but why not learn at home and then get to enjoy the wonders of the underwater world while on vacation!

  3. Off topic, but this made me laugh. When I was working, I was an elementary school principal. I had the husband of one of my teachers call me to request a meeting. He wanted to provide me with the guidelines for how he expected me to treat his pregnant wife, and outline the campus and district policies he thought she should be exempted from!

I would be mortified if anyone other than myself were to speak with a superior of mine about an issue I was having. Oh lord it amazes me how little responsibility people take for themselves and their actions. I own a couple businesses where I employ many that are under 20 and I get calls from parents a couple times a year. I roll my eyes every time. But nothing beats a husband calling, oh my I can only imagine what you were thinking during that meeting.

  4. It's interesting watching the insults fly on this topic about others parenting. I guess that's the nature of the Internet. But I like that on Labadee the sea phones work. We left our 12 month old in the nursery for 4 hours at Labadee and he had a bit of a diaper explosion. They called to tell me they were going to change him into an AO sweat suit and to say he was fine. They were wonderful about communication and I was able to call if I had any concerns. I'm not sure if it is the same for older children but the sea phones really made me feel better about leaving the ship with out my most precious asset.

  5. That's pretty darn gross. I absolutely love Bermuda too. Here's to hoping they are able to rectify the situation and find a new process of disposing of waste.

  6. Not everybody is in it on the Explorer? They made everybody play on the ships Ive been on. Either a million small teams (way more fun) or the room divided.

I agree I like it so much better on the smaller ships the small groups are great!!!!!! So much more interaction.

  7. A lifesaver for me is this little contraption that hooks onto the car seat and pretty much turns it into a car seat for strolling around the airport. It's so easy to use. I wish I had a better picture but this should give you an idea of what it is. ImageUploadedByForums1396125137.733564.jpg.ca7b9eb4dab3a7ed9d040cd0b79f193e.jpg. It's kind of like one of those old school luggage carts.

  8. You do have to request them so they make sure there are enough on board. Not that I think it is an issue but I would not want to be inboard and find out its a cruise with a ton on little ones and no PNP's left. But defiantly bring your own fitted sheet and if your LO uses a pillow bring a pillowcase. Our sons face broke out from the harsh chemicals they use to launder their linens.

  9. I actually prefer to sail on Oasis with cabins that are adjacent. With the balcony divider open you can go from room to room easily and you get two rooms with couches. I sailed this way with my family and my brothers and it was great! With your children being older i would think having the door is not a necessity. Not to mention a little extra privacy for mom and dad is never a bad thing!
