We are cruising on the Conquest next week. I'm trying to decide what clothes to pack for the MDR. Does my husband need to take a suit for formal night or will dress slacks, dress suit and tie be alright? Do I need dress pants or will capris or shorts be alright?

We have only cruised on Princess and have heard that Carnival isn't as dressy.

We went on a 7 day southern caribbean cruise out of Ft Lauderdale on Princess. Aruba and Caracao are two of my favorite ports.

My husband had an iPod stolen from his suitcase after we left the suitcase out the night before. Lock your suitcase for that reason alone.

They reduce the price of your excursion(that should show under your activities) and the obc will show up once you are on board.

I have stayed at both beach locations and enjoyed both. Go with the hotel that suits your needs.

As far as transportation...Try QLS.

We are going on a cruise in April also. I booked airfare about a month ago. The prices had dropped to a somewhat reasonable price. Since then prices have gone up $150.

If OP lives in Anaheim he may want to check prices out of Vegas. Spirit had round trip prices to FLL as low as $270.

Finally received approval on my second room. It took one week and two days, but happy for the approval.

I just received an email saying they are still reviewing my request. I submitted it on 1/15.

I kept getting an error message when I hit the submit button that says to put in a valid date. I have the correct sailing date and have tried two different formats. Anyone else have this problem?

You have to put a zero in front of the hour. For example 4 hours would be 04.

Which company did you price match with for Altun Ha? I submitted a request on Wednesday night and have not heard back.

Carnival made me list an adult in each room on my upcoming cruise and our cabins are next door to each other.

This is not always the case and a post such as this may lead to a false sense of safety.

Unfortunately there are people out there who will pray upon random young kids anywhere. Strangers or not. Keep your kids safe. It doesn't take long for something to happen to them that can be life changing.

In my family is sailing on Carnival Conquest in April. Would we be off the ship in time for a 10:00 shuttle pick up?

My husband and I did a segway / snorkeling tour about 6 years ago through Princess. It was a lot of fun. I don't remember the name of the beach, but it was across from a huge house. We were the only ones who showed up so it was basically a private tour.
