Awesome! Thanks for the review! I'll be on the Breeze in December :-)

Awesome! Thanks guys for the advice! We booked the 2pm flights and will use the Galveston Limo and schedule pickup beforehand. Most of us have Global Entry or TSA Precheck so I think we will be fine. Thanks again!

Hi! We are cruising on December 3 from Galveston. The ship docks at 8am. We are planning on using the Galveston limo to return to airport. Will a 2pm flight from Houston Hobby be ok? The next flight is 4 hours later. Thanks for any advice! We will be on the Breeze.

I'm on the 6 day Conquest cruise to Half Moon Cay, Amber Cove, and Grand Turk. Does anyone know what nite is the elegant nite? Is there only 1? Thanks!

Thanks so much! I'll look into the Hyatt Place!

My response came in a couple days last month....my cruise is in October 2016.

Thanks for watching and checking out my channel! We did stay the night before! We stayed at the Comfort inn and suites (191 SW 19th Ct
Dania, FL 33004) Great hotel, it's almost brand new! The staff were great! The room was very big with 2 queens and a full sectional couch! I would highly recommend it! They did have a free airport shuttle, they have a cruise shuttle but I believe it was $10 a person! We personally just used uber to the port! I can not say enough about it being the best cheap option! There was allot by the hotel! A huge shopping center with Kmart, publix, and a lot of other stores! Good food options as well! Any more questions let me know! I will be happy to answer!
Awesome! I'm looking for a hotel too. Could you walk to the Kmart and food places from here?

I do have the fun times I can try and figure out how to scan it tonight! We did the beach in half moon cay of course! Amber cove we just stayed at the port and hung out at the pool! There were cabs there sitting waiting so it shouldn't be a problem to catch one! And grand Turk it rained in the morning then we just stayed at margaritaville for the day! I'm glad you liked the video! If there is anything you want answered let me know!
Thanks a bunch! Will def look out for them if you can send them :-) I'm so excited!!!

Embassy Suites looks very nice but it's about $220 plus tax in October. Looking for something a lil less expensive, if possible, seeing that we won't fly in until around 5pm the day before cruise.

Our cruise is leaving on October 23, 2016. We will be flying into Ft. Lauderdale the afternoon before our cruise...so we really only need a place to crash, grab wine and a few last minute toiletries, and dinner for the night. We will not be renting a car so prefer to walk or call Uber.

Awesome video! Do you happen to have the Fun Times for each day? Also, is it possible to just do "beach days" at the ports without having to book an excursion? How easy was it to catch cabs to beach? Thanks!!!
-
Thanks so much guys! I'll look into all suggestions :-)

Hi, what is a good pre-cruise hotel in Ft. Lauderdale? We just want to be walking distance to food and somewhere to pick up toiletries and wine. Thanks!

Thanks so much for writing this very detailed review! My sis and I are on this same cruise in October 2016 and can't wait! :D

I stayed in a grand suite on the Upper deck 6 I believe this past August and the room was awesome to us! I didn't really notice any "upgrades" but this was my first time in a grand suite so I'm not sure. The cruise I took on the Victory in April of 2014 was in a balcony on Lido deck and it was nice as well. I would gladly sail on her again!

9 days!!!! Whoo hoo!!

This is a rather lame suggestion BUT Margaritaville is very close and has a small beach area. :o
LuLu
LOL I love Margaritaville! May decide to go there for drinks after beach time :-)

When I was there last October on Freedom of the Seas our group went to the Royal Palms Beach Club. It was about 10-15 minutes by taxi. They have a bar, restaurant, music and a freshwater pool. It's also right on the beach, so you could swim in either. They only charge a $2 fee to get in, but it never got overly crowded. That can vary by how many ships are in port though.
Perfect! Thanks!

Can anyone recommend a good beach bar to go and relax without a huge crowd on 7MB GC?
Not sure. You may want to post that question yourself. I'm simply asking about a beach in general...not bars.

Thanks! I think thats where the parasailing excursion is also. Does anybody have a beach recommendation for Ocho Rios?
