OK so whats do Americans define as being CHEAP?
is it Cheap = mean and stingy, or
cheap = on a budget?
just like to clarify , cos if its the later, then im cheap! but im not stingy at all and can be quite generous when it comes to drink. My generousity doesnt stretch to lineing the pockets of big corporate money grabbing cruiselines though :rolleyes:
Hmm when I say cheap it is because I'm on a budget (Social Security - or as they say in blighty "Old Age Pension" LOL)

Sorry to be a bit thick( or a thick brit) but what do you Americans call checked bags ?
It is the cases that the porters take or your hand luggage ?
Bav
The Americans have a totally different English - LOL
I came here (to Florida) from England over 30 years ago and it took me a while to learn the language:D

Regarding the lobster being on the 6th night. Our waiter said that they switched the nights, as the night they served it there are not usually as many people dining in the MDR so it was a way to cut costs. But apparently one of the first questions the waiters are asked by passengers is "when is lobster night". So, they didn't cut any costs by switching nights as those that love the lobster nights ate in the MDR anyway :)
