I hope your cruise is every bit as lovely as ours was!

We were on the Reflection for the Dec.11 cruise. We had a sky suite and it was wonderful as was the entire cruise. Our bath products were full size, I can't recall the brand name but they were very nice. We had daily tea with small sandwiches, delicious. our son was was also on the cruise and we asked our butler if he could have horderves for 4 in our cabin pre-dinner and he did a wonderful job. I can not say enough about what a wonderful cruise we had, my son said it was the best vacation he ever had.

We were not able to eat together, but it worked out because my son and his girlfriend like to eat late and we like to eat by 6. You do not need a reservation, and Luminae is a wonderful restaurant. we received 1 free dinner in one of the restaurants so we all ate together at Tuscan Grill and that was magnificent, we also ate together at lunch. We went to Michaels once, but it was very quiet so we went to other areas that we could all go to.

We just returned from our Eastern Getaway Cruise on Reflection. Two Days before we boarded, Celebrity called and upgraded our cabins, my son was given a deluxe Veranda from a window cabin and I was given a Sky Suite from a Concierge Cabin. I was so thrilled, I had never had a suite before and my son had only ever had a inside cabin on a very old ship on a different cruise line.

We arrived at the cruise terminal about 1030 AM and it was already quite busy we were in the priority check-in line and we were allowed to stay together because our reservation was under my name. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting for several hours outside because the ship had not cleared, it turns out that someone had made a threat against the ship as they were leaving and the authorities needed to make sure that the ship was safe to board, Ok that was not fun, but I would rather be safe then sorry! celebrity also gave every cabin on the ship a $50 on board credit, I thought this was vey generous because this time delay was not the fault of Celebrity. Our departure time was also set back by 2 hours. On a positive note our room were ready as soon as we boarded, first we went to my sons room and he was delighted with his Cabin on the Sunrise deck. We all then went to cabin on the 12 floor, Resort Deck I think this floor is all Sky Suites, ours was midship making it very close to the elevators and also nice because it seemed close to everything. Our butler was waiting in our cabin and he introduced himself and gave us his phone number, I have to admit that we really didn't use him for anything, but it was fun knowing that we had him. Our room was beautiful and large, with plenty of room to have our son come to our room for drinks and hors d'oeuvres. There was a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us as well as fresh flowers and fruit. We all had champagne to celebrate the start of our cruise.

Following the muster drill we went for coffee at the Cafe, we spent a lot of time there during the cruise and throughly enjoyed it. We went back to our cabin and prepared for dinner. I can not say enough about Luminae, it was a wonderful restaurant, the staff were warm and inviting. The restaurant is small and serine, done in silver with shimmering lights, it seats 100 and that is decided into two rooms giving it a feeling of intimacy.We always went to dinner at 6, and most night we were the only ones there for 20 mins or so, what a luxury that was. The staff is wonderful and treat you as if you are the most important person there and never seem hurried. The food was wonderful with some of the best filet mignon I have ever tasted.

The ship itself is impeccable, classy and serene. There is so many place to relax and enjoy your surroundings. If I have any negatives I would have to say some of the entertainment was not my cup of tea, but my husband and son enjoyed it. I would also rather see the game shows an dancing be done somewhere other then central court or in areas where you need to crowd in an remain standing in order to watch.

I think the highlight of this cruise was just being together as a family in such a wonderful environment all in all it was the best cruise I have ever taken and again I thank the reflection staff for making this a vacation to remember!

Thank-you all for the well wishes, I do feel like I won the cruise lottery. To answer the questions it was complimentary, we are sailing 12/12/15 on the Reflection. I haven't been this excited about a cruise since our first one.🛳🛳🛳🛳🛳.

I have been on at least 15 cruises and in that time I have been upgraded to better balcony or higher Aqua Class, not today my ship has come in. We are taking our son on a celebration cruise for completion of a long hard residency. Who should call me today ....Celebrity, to ask if I would like my son's window cabin upgraded to a deluxe veranda and when I asked if they could upgrade me, I was upgraded from a concierge cabin to a Sky Suite! Once again thank- you Celebrity and this is why I'm a loyal costumer.

What beautiful pictures, I felt like I was there with you. I loved how you described the area, one of the best posts I've seen. My favorite picture was the flowering tree by the blue door, it was simplistic and beautiful.

The dress code as it was became impractical as airline regulations and baggage fees increased. I go to dinner nightly, dressed in resort casual, I enjoy seeing those who are dress to the 9s, but I don't mind nice casual either to each his own. Enjoy your vacation.

Wow, Frist off I'd like to say tough group to just be trying to give a friendly comparison/opinion. I thought you did a great job, and basically it boils down to your experience on that one cruise that you have just taken and how you were treated. I have been on at least 15 cruises on many different line NCl, Carnival, Princess and the last 4 or 5 on Celebrity. I have loved and had a good time on all the ships, however, at this time Celebrity is my favorite, not to say that on different cruises there weren't some "issues" like on one of the cruise we at 45-50 were some of the youngsters on the trip and thing were closed up as tight as a drum by midnight. I would also like to add that I have a cruise coming up in Dec on Reflection with our 30 year old son and his girlfriend and I'm a little worried that they will not find it as "fun" as we do. In conclusion I thing your cruise is what you make it, don't worry about the food, there plenty, who cares what the person sitting next to you is wearing, make due with 6 in more or less in storage just plan on having a great time with the person you love isn't that what it all about in the end?

I really can't believe how upset people get over what others are wearing, does it really matter or effect your vacation? I have been on many cruises and I can only think of one or two times that what someone else was wearing even crossed my mind. Try enjoying yourself instead of being so pretentious.

What about my service pot belly pig. I'm just saying......
