Just to let you know I am off EX Jan 25th Rob McNally fills for me. I return March 19th - July 28th

Then before the rumour mill starts ....I am stepping back after July I will still do the odd fill but 28 years for me now and I have had some fantastic times met some amazing people hopefully made most of you laugh....ish

Learnt a lot about people and how they think you should be, based on either past experience or just an expectation. There is no true CD formula we all have our strengths and you have your favourites...Just the way it is

Been a while

Rhapsody coming to an end for me almost 3 years had a blast here and created some great memories. Truly a great team on rhapsody and those you cherish.

I will be on Anthem on the 1st Sept and take over from Joff on the 15th Sept.

I am doing his vacation fill. I leave Nov 4th and fly to Explorer and bring that into Australia for the season

So a busy boy....hope to see some of you soon....

Yes sorry been off the grid for a while..... I will go to my room and think about what I've done.......that would take a while :D

Been busy ...(in no particular order)

Enjoying the UK weather ..well most of it driving my classic cars

Rhapsody still my lady for the at least the next two contracts 4 months on and two finally ...yippeee Oct 2nd -Jan 28th & Early April- Early August 2015

Bit tough going back to the farm after mums passing as nothing had changed as her jacket still over the chair and her handbag stillon the coffee table...that as tough knocked me back a bit in truth as she passed over back in Nov my stepdad still hard for him understandable......upward & onward

My darling lady hurt her back and has been healing looking at her new career she is an incredible artist and I have posted some of her pics on facebook that she does to order weddings, birthdays pets etc...so yes on facebook and twitter

Just wanted to let you know Ken will be taking over a cruise early 19th Nov (today)

Sadly My Mum passed away 2 days ago very suddenly, She had an

Upset Tummy and went into hospital for a check they found internal bleeding which lead to organ failure and she slipped away Saturday morning at 8.33am

I was so lucky to get to talk to her briefly before she got worse and she knew it was me...and even said sorry for causing a fuss, that was my mum didnt like to put anybody out

It has been a tough two days as we have been at sea we can into Sydney in a few hours then I can get home

Jamie my AM filled in and was superb but of course rumours start as I have not been seen...but its easier to write about it than speak

Just to let you know Rhapsody is my home now and loving every minute of it

Alaska has been great, weather for most of the season amazing T-shirt & Shorts some days warmer than I remember

We are on our last cruise before heading down to to Hawaii and then onto Sydney, where we have 3 charters then a couple of 12 day cruises then I go off on vacation November 30th and return Feb 1st with my darling lady and spending it in NZ with her family....with a bit of house/land hunting. Not sure who my fill is but I bet you'll know before I do :p

Bex is doing great and we have our Anniversary in Honolulu....I hear Ruth Chris Steak calling mmmmmmm

Great news for Richard he is a superstar and the perfect person to set that up & Jimmy will be great making it his own....congrats guys

I have to say its really nice doing a smaller ship having time to breathe chat more with you guys instead of rushing off to another venue reminds me of how it used to be. Brought my baby here ( Rock Brit ) cant wait to perform that for the Aussies

Hi everyome

Just to confirm the rumours are true I leave Freedom Jan 6th and do Gordon's fill on Voyager I get there Jan 8th for a 4/5 day handover and I am there until March 23rd (Singapore)

Then my new home will be Rhapsody Handover May 24th which I am looking forward to very much Alaska in the summer Australia in the winter

Had a great time on freedom and honoured to work with some managers there

But that is ships you sign to the company not a ship and they go where required

Bex sadly hurt her back and has been home since Nov 2nd so they reckon another 3-6 weeks to recover Boo Hiss Boo !!

Bex's first night of sleeping we have been so opposite since coming home

I have slept so so at night and she is awake, I am up and 5.00 am finding stuff to do she is fast a sleep by 11 am .....So Laughing right now

Weather mmmm lets say wear clothes for ALL weather as it cant seem to make up its mind

Anyway 3.38am and I think I'll knock a wall down make this room bigger (Just Kidding)

two days left ..big smile just had a great quest, Drew has been great we meet up quick chat and he goes off setting his week up...that's how I like it always kinda a weird when you have a shadow for 7 days more so when you don't know the person, but thankfully Drew has done this long enough. He will bring his character to Freedom as he should and will be great.

Cello 56 - Not sure what the schedule is or if that Drew will be my fill will try and find out and post before home time, things can change quite quickly or not at all ...ship life

Then my 3 years are up and a different ship awaits have asked for a smaller ship with cruise to perhaps Alaska or New Zealand just to have a change of scenery.

Firstly Thank you as always for your kind words I am truly happy we have fun together

My Replacement / Fill is onboard - Drew Devine

We have only ever met once before at a conference in Miami and yet getting on like a house on fire. Funny that he is all rested from vacation and ready to go....(anyone who is here through my vacation will have a great time with Drew I'm sure) and I am very tired and READY TO GO !! This is my last 6 month contract.... 4 months from now on

Looking forward to going home seeing the folks, cooking, getting the cars out of storage and driving...roller blading (no laughing...allowed if you see me doing it though).

Will have some exciting news when I return...new stuff I am working on

Lost a good friend a couple of months back Corey Schmidt a former Cruise Director from Carnival. He was hurting inside and took his life, so still getting my head around that, alot of fond memories with him and I miss him, even though we lost touch over the last couple of years...you just never know going on behind the smile. Have some old video footage of us doing comedy improv together which I dig out when I get home and smile..

Another plan of mine to get a "whose line is it anyway" night on the Freedom

Anyway, as always thank you for your kind words, I know I am not everybodies "cup of tea" as we say, But as long as you get my name right ...say what you wish :o) x

Not sure what you mean, but I would hope that whatever cruise you have been on with any Cruise Director there are guidelines and even rules that they need and are expected to follow from the company. Now whether they choose to follow them, I guess is at there discretion, and would think they will "face the music" should they not. All I can say is that whatever rumors you may have heard on "my" policies, be assured come direct either from whoever my superior is onboard at the time of my contract or the head office that I answer too, and of course work for. Now as time goes on these can be relaxed or even changed.

So, sadly again opinions and rumors are formed on what people think are the individual's choice, when behind the scenes of my position there are more politics and rules than a lot of guests/passengers truly know

with the answer to your question, I guess you could do them and them play them every week, but in truth I like to record them each day, as every crowd is different and hopefully i can use something to make it a bit more to that particular week. as for things like the Debark talk, they can stay the same so we normally record them only once..... Mind you I recorded one once with my hair short and as I was on that ship for two years (with breaks) I let my hair grow and when people would see it they thought I cut my hair that day...

Good lord even I am not that perky at 6am so....yes they are recorded the night before.

On my DVD I'm finishing at present I am more than likely going to add a chapter with some clips,

bad hair, drinking the cocktail, star wars,...etc plus som others that are new

It makes me smile now to think if people remember me ...good or bad then at least I have made an impression for them to write something :o)

Well hello,

Graham Seymour here, just finishing up my vacation and wanted to say hi, Interesting topic,

Having some knowledge of this,no matter how the cruise director comes over or acts he/she will always be commented on by the person's personal preference.....just like comedy either you laugh or you don't

With "Pam in MA' not liking my style is again the choice of the person. "bjam" I am sure there are many things said about many people and being a Cruise Director that kinda comes with the job. after 13 years at this career the amount of incredible things I've heard about me as a person....well lets just say i would love to know who starts them, especially when these people don't even know me. But would hope you make your own opinion before listening to the rumours that puts me at the bottom of your list.

for those of you that enjoy my antics/style thanks as always.

Heading over to the Navigator of the Seas for my next RCI ship at the end of June. and will be between there and the Mariner until December.
