Not much activity on this board yet. I’m sure it will change in about 6 months😜

I almost did, but am in the Edge for first TA...have fun, Ron! Are you cruising with friends from the British Isles? Maybe Wales?
Some of usual traveling partners including the couple from Wales, will be on a River Cruise in Portugal around that time frame. But, a couple of our friends from Northern NJ will be sailing with us.
We too are looking forward to our Edge cruise on May 25. Have a great time on your transatlantic

January 9th 2021 here. Aqua Class A1 Total cost $5775. Includes all 4 perks an extra $150 for onboard booking.
So total $450 OBC.
I’m assuming the $5775 is per person.?

Just booked Paris and the Heart of Normandy for September 2019. Our last trip to Paris was in September 2012 to celebrate our 25th anniversary. I planned the trip for nine months and it was amazing. Looking forward to returning.
We are frequent cruisers, having done at least one a year since 2001 - this will be our first river cruise. Expecting a totally different experience.
Robin - happy to hear you booked the Paris and Heart of Normandy river cruise. I know that September 2019 sounds like a long way off, but the time fly by especially if you start researching tours and ports now.

We booked Paris and the Heart of Normandy on Viking and I will check out the thread you mentioned. While my husband and I are frequent cruisers (Royal Caribbean and Celebrity), this is our first river cruise. Expecting a totally different experience.
Thanks for reaching out -

Robin - My wife are Royal Caribbean/Celebrity cruisers too. We took our first Viking River Cruise on the Rhine a couple of years ago and really liked it. It is a lot more laid back and tends to cater to a more older group which we are a part of. The ship is pretty quite in the evening, but the tours as well as the service on board is excellent. I think you will enjoy it. We are taking the France’s Finest Cruise next month and really look forward to it.

Hi Lori,
Thanks so much for your excellent review. You have cleared up a lot of unanswered questions. I have just a couple more. What ports would you recommend buying the city passes? You mentioned being able to get off of the ship in St. Petersburg for a private tour. Can you tell me about what time that was? We are booked with Red October and they tell us that they are going to pick us up around 8:00 on the first morning.
We are on the August 19 Cruise and really looking forward to it.
Thanks
