  1. I hope we are on the same cruise. Since it is my cruise, not only am I planning on wearing what I want no matter what, I am going to chair hog, get on the elevator without letting anyone off, (not letting anyone in walkers or wheelchairs go first ), cut the line in the Windjammer, save lots of seats in the theater , get one drink package for the two of us, smoke on my balcony and bring my service pig. I don't have kids at home but I sm thinking I might rent a few to do cannonballs in the solarium pools, push all the elevator numbers with sticky ice cream hands, cry in specialty restaurants and run amuck through the ship. I will have those kids knock on all the doors at night and change the room service tags.

    Why not? It's my cruise!

I think we have cruised together at one time.

  2. We just toured with Godfrey last week Nov 18th. He explained he was having trouble replying to emails and reservations. He met us at the gate soon as we got off the ship. For $35 he takes you to town for some shopping then to Mountain top. Then to a botanical garden. After that he will drop you off at a beach of your choice for about 2 hours or if you want or take you back to the ship. I thought for $35 dollars it was a bargain especially as he supplies water and soda free. He also gives you a ticket for a free banana daiquiri at Mountain top. He’s a great guy and guide.

  3. I would never cruise on this ship or any ship that offers this dining plan. Suite guests and formal attire would get the best meals and the rest of us would get comfort food like meatloaf and mac & cheese or Chinese food. This promotes the return of the classes type cruising.

Of the five complimentary, full-service restaurants, the 128-seat Mediterranean/California-influenced Coastal Kitchen will be for guests in suite accommodations only. Another, The Grande, designed as a nod to classic European ocean liners, will require formal attire nightly.

The other complimentary eateries are the American Icon Grill, serving comfort food; Chic, where a contemporary menu includes a focus on proteins; and the Pan-Asian Silk
