Just yesterday we received the official shipping notification, with USPS tracking number, though the tracking number doesn't actually work. Our trip leaves San Pedro on Feb 3.

I thought they didn't ship them to Canada.

  2. This is interesting we are about to book our next cruise and I want to wait but my wife says book now. Our last two cruises dropped BIG after final payment and I was a little upset that some blue card was going to get a way better deal then us. (we are platinum)

My wife is concerned because we fly down a day early and stay at a hotel the night before our cruises. She wants everything in place so that we are not booking hotels and flights at the last minute. She is also worried that if we wait the cruise may sell out.

What I want to do is plan the trip, book the flight and hotel but keep an eye on the cruise and book that last minute. If the ship fills up we can always book to secure the cruise.

  3. They are losing us next year after 9 cruise due to lack of itineraries. We always go the second week of November and next year they only have one 7 day for that time slot. I like St.Thomas and St. Maarten but we would like to see other islands.

  4. We just got off Regal a couple of weeks ago 11/16-11/24. Here are a couple of pictures from our balcony. We where not aft but in D420 right in the middle of the ship. The pictures where taken the last morning after we docked in FLL so I am guessing the wind just blew the soot around in an odd way. We usually get a mid-low cabin and have never seen this before.

  5. See, here's where I have the problem. I'm sure I'm not alone. I don't mind paying to have the booze in my cabin (I'm sure I mix my drinks stronger than most) but if you don't want me to smuggle then let me buy my alcohol on board in a reasonable manner. Give me a normal size of bottle at a reasonable price (with the mark up, of course). Give me the choice to do it the way they want to do it... but please give me the choice, variety and size. If I want a glass of brandy, don't make the bottle so small that one glass equals the bottle. Give us a more expanded selection. Believe it or not but the most expensive bottle of brandy is not my favorite. Location, location, location. Selection, selection, selection.

Agreed, even if they had two prices at the duty free shop would be better. A higher prices if you want to take your purchase back to your room right away and the duty free price if you want it delivered on the last night of your cruise. My guess is that would be a big hit and a good money maker for Princess.

  6. I thought I read somewhere on here that you were able to purchase a full bottle of liquor from any of the bars if you ask. I am not talking about the room service mini bottles but the 750ml and the different brands. My guess would be that it would not be at duty free prices but they do not have the brand I like from room service. Can anyone confirm or bust this theory.

  7. Here is a little room service tip.

For some reason the burgers they bring you with room service are 100% better then what you get at the Trident grill. I have taken to ordering room service and have them deliver it to my deck chair instead of going to the grill.
