Has anyone done an excursion that includes the Blue Room Cave?  We are coming in May via cruise ship.  It looks like the Cave may be rather far from the port?  Just curious if it is worth exploring further.  Thanks!

Does anyone know of any tour companies that provide transportation from Quebec to Montreal. Our cruise ends in Quebec but our flights home leave from Montreal (in the evening). I think our cruise line has a transfer but we were hoping for a private transfer to stop at sights along the way.

We have done a walk of portions of the Freedom Trail. We did a private tour through the Freedom Trail Foundation. It went to most of the stops around Boston Common and then a portion in the North End. We didn't do the portion of the trail that ends at Bunker Hill. It was a great tour and while you did a lot of walking there were many stops along the way and the walking, distance-wise, isn't that far.

Plastic straws can't be recycled and they don't biodegrade. They end up in the oceans and cause serious harm to sealife. I have been using reusable straws for awhile now. Takes getting use to and reminding restaurants and such that I don't need a straw but it has worked well for me. I am glad that more companies are moving towards eliminating plastic straws. I actually found a company on Kickstarter that is developing a "foldable" straw that you can attach to your key chain so you always have it with you. I've just told the people I am cruising with this fall to plan ahead and order their reusable straws before we embark on the cruise.

I agree, Bob...but that's what comes up in the cruise planner! $390.00 for just my wife and I. I think I'll wait until I get onboard and verify it then.

That happened to me when I put all our party in, it wanted me to pay the price for each person. But the description reads that the price is per cabana so I just made the reservation for 1 person and then the price dropped to the actual quoted price. I understand that you can add up to 6 people in the cabana for no additional charge. If it is $495 per person I will be canceling it but I think I did it right by making the reservation in my name only.

I was just able to book an OTW cabana for a June sailing on Allure. Did it online. Said onboard only but it let me book it online. It shows up in my itinerary now, so hope it works.
