I am looking at the excursion to Krka National Park..,has anyone been there?  I'm wondering if it is too far to go in the time we have.

We are boarding Sojourn on 8/29 and our travel agent suggested that we plan to board about 1:00.  I assume we will have a more accurate boarding time when we are closer to sail date.  We arranged for pickup at 11 from central Rome to the port.

Another word of thanks for these helpful words and photos!  It is very helpful as we prepare for this same itinerary in August.  Do you have any comments/advice on Seabourn excursions in Bandol and Sete?  Just wondering if maybe you have heard others discussing their excursions.  Hope you have a safe and worry free rest of your trip😊

Thanks for the information.  Sounds like we can expect a great trip…this will be our first Seabourn cruise.  Any suggestions or info on Seabourn excursions would be most appreciated.  

We will be on our first VO trip, Viking Homelands in August.  Can anyone comment on the location/noise level of cabin 7014?   It is a DV cabin.  We are considering a PV 1 or 2, which were sold out until today & are now available as guarantee cabins.  Not sure if we want to upgrade, 7014 looks pretty good and the extra $$ for the upgrade could be spent on excursions.  Thanks for your comments.

Thank you all for the responses.  We are leaning toward the Baltics.  I know the weather can be quite changeable...that said, what type of weather should I expect for August 18 - Sept. 8?  May is also an option.  What would be your "must see and do" sights and experiences for the fjords & Baltics itinerary?  This board has been so helpful to us in planning, thanks again!

We are considering a back to back cruise on HAL Nieuw Statendam which includes the fjords and Baltics OR a Viking trip (Empires of the Med, Lake Como to Athens) in August.  We have cruised to the British Isles and the Med but never more than 12 days on ship and not to

Russia or Scandinavia.  We have previously been to Athens, Venice & Santorini and words cannot describe how amazing they were.  The Croatian ports would be new stops for us.  My questions,

1.  Any thoughts on 21 days on HAL’s new ship and the length of trip?

2.  Vikings itinerary and ship experience?

3.  And finally, costs being very close, which one would you suggest?  

We are retired so have the time and I am thinking how very wonderful it would be to do either one of these trips!  Thanks in advance for your kind responses🙂

I am also looking at cruises to the Baltics in late Auagust. Just curious, and if you don't mind sharing, did you decide on a cruise? I really haven't noticed too many "deals...".

Really enjoying the review...looks like lots of fun & great weather...we were booked but had to cancel due to an unexpected health issue, gives us something to look forward to next year, thanks for sharing!

We were on the Reflection in September and had a wonderful cruise. We had no complaints and would not hesitate to recommend Reflection. I would sail on Reflection again in a heartbeat! Have fun:)
