  1. We recently returned from an Alaskan Cruise (Westerdam), and picked up the newest (April 2020-April 2021) Cruise Planner and nowhere in it can I find any reference to America's Test Kitchen. On page  15 and 22 they speak  "Port to Table"-onboard cooking demos, tastings, wine pairings etc. I will be very disappointed if the ATC-HAL partnership has come to an end, and if ATC is pairing with another cruise line it may be time to make a change.

  2. Could you explain how they do this?

From The letter my TA got in response to my enquiry

"CCCD ( presumably Carnival Cruises Casino Division?) provides the option for players to self exclude (ban) themselves from our Casino facilites. We aim to do this by providing an enviroment that ensures the matter is dealt with sensitively, confidentially and in a timely manner.

Self exclusion (self ban) is when a Guest approaches one of our casino staff and asks to be excluded. Information should be provided upon request and the exclusion processed as soon as practicable -generally immediately."

The Princess ( owned by Carnival ) rep also told my TA that this ban is irrevocable for the duration of the cruise.

This is similar to a policy in the jurisdiction in which I live (BC Canada) where I have banned myself from the local casino. My picture was taken and casino staff are diligent. Although fortunatly I have not tested it here-I know thos who have. They have been asked to leave within mopments of stepping in the door of the casino.

    Hope this helps-
