We don't arrive early. Why walk around the ship with carry ons in tow? We usually leave our home at 2:30 for a 5pm sail away. Trip to the port takes about 10 minutes.

It depends on how you see it, there is no smoking allowed-so should be fresh. The balconies are sometimes without an overhang-thus many of cabins people can lean over from deck above and see part of your balcony, a few select cabins are closer to front (bow) and from above a windbreaking plexiglass that doesn't allow over lookers.

You can smoke in the Spa deck cabins on the Conquest. These rooms are not the same as the spa cabins on the Splendor or Dream.

I personally think the best band at sea is Blood Power on the Destiny.

I ask because we have a favorite band that we've had the pleasure to sail with several times but their name is Music Manila. They are excellent!!!!!!!

Same style of music, different bands.

Most casino onboard are on the small side. If you are looking for a non-smoking shipboard casino, the Carnival Paradise casino is usually non-smoking during the 4day cruise.

 

The Paradise also sails out of Long Beach.

You can smoke in the casino on the Paradise. The ship used to be totally non-smoking, but that didn't last long.
