  1. Hello,

Thinking of travelling  American Steamboat Company (Queen or Countess) New Orleans to Memphis in April, 2020 and would like some advice please.

What time does the American Queen or the Countess arrive and depart at ports?

Are they generally docked all day ?

Would we have time to go on both a  paid excursion beginning 12.30 and the included tours?

Just looking for a better understanding of how the system works.

    Looking forward to replies.

  2. Hi,

Looking at going on Iao Valley and Maui Tropical Plantation - MA04 with Royal Caribbean when we are in Maui.

This is part of our Explorer of the seas Transpacific cruise which departs Sydney 22nd April, 2018

Has anyone been on this tour in Maui.? The countryside looks beautiful but from a bus window with 50 other people, not so good.

Do they use big busses and what is the usual tour group size. ?

We are having trouble finding small group tours at a lot of the ports we are visiting.

Here is a list of the Ports we will visit and would love to hear from cruisers that have found good tours in these Ports.

Lifou, Mystery Island, Suva, Lautoka, Honolulu and Maui.

Have already Booked a tour in Noumea and a rental car in Honolulu.

Looking forward to thoughts and recommendations.

    Kindest Regards

    Russell

  3. Hello,

Looking at going on the Iao Valley and Maui Tropical Tram tour with Roberts or another Tour company. This will be in May, 2018 when our cruise ship docks in Lahaina.

Royal Caribbean does offer this tour but we do not want to be part of a large group tour.

Would anyone know the maximum number of people on this tour ? Hardly think that a large bus would be used, but I might be wrong

    Looking forward to replies

  4. Hello,

We are booked on Legend of the seas departing New York on the 23rd September 2014, arriving Quebec on the 3rd of October, 2014.

For the first time, we have not chosen a Balcony stateroom, but have gone for cabin 7059 which is known as a Panoramic Oceanview Stateroom. It has floor to ceiling windows which sounds great! I think it is a new room established after the recent refurbishment of the ship. Some of the deckplans online do not show the cabin!

Has anyone stayed in this cabin or know details of it.?

    Looking forward to replies.

    Thanks

    Russell
