What it means is that boarding may be delayed and if you show up at 10 am, don't complain about waiting.
I was hoping to hear from someone who had a similar experience, and if indeed, they were not able to board until 2 pm and would be able to offer some constructive advise.

Thanks for all of the great advice. I chose the Dream, surprised my DH and DD for Christmas and we sail this Saturday ! We are all so very excited. My DH cannot wait to get back to Camp Carnival, I am looking forward to our aft cabin and my DH is super excited about the live bands.
Bon Voyage !!

Has anyone ever received an emai prior to embarkation stating "we will be conducting routine maintenance tests....as a result check-in will be scheduled from 2;00 pm - 5:30 pm" ?
My question is that does that mean they are really allowing us on the ship at 2:00 pm ? I know I usually arrive at 10:00 am and I am usually onboard anywhere between 11:00 and 12:00.

Thanks to all for your wonderful replies. I believe our choice will be the Dream because of our 8 year old DD and the live music choices for my DH.
Time to book...I saw an extended aft available on Deck 6

I am researching cruises to take in early January as a Christmas gift for my DH and DD. Our last cruise was on the Paradise where we enjoyed the excellent service and DD loved Camp Carnival. Both the Legend and Dream have the same itinerary at about the same price, so I am interested in opinions on which to choose. DH and I enjoy listening to live cover bands and the casino at night and hanging out at the pool/outdoor bars during the day. DD is 8 and LOVES Camp Carnival.

Thank you for this great thread. I am saving this for our upcoming 6/27/09 cruise.

Jumping on the bandwagon. Party of 6 girls off to celebrate my DD's 15th B-Day, sailing on 7/26. 3 Inside cabins...I have only sailed in an inside cabin once on the Disney Cruise LIne. I am hoping we'll be so busy, I won't miss my balcony.

Mother /Daughter trip suite question
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Hi All
My two sisters, myself and my Mother would like to sail this August in the Caribbean or Bahamas for 4-5 days in a suite that can comfortably accommodate 4 people. Comfortably to us would include no pull down beds, preferably two rooms or at least a pull out couch that can accommodate 2 adults, or perhaps a room that could accommodate a roll away. We are willing to pay for a large suite with extra space and bedding. A balcony is a must .
Any suggestions, even on another cruise line would be most appreciated.
