    You sparked my curiosity,  as I remembered something additional about this.  I made an account with IDPH and they have a version of the covid shots record with a huge QR Code "Smart Health Card".  Anyone can then scan that to verify.  I was able to upload my daughter's info in  Apple Health on my phone.  I'll do the same with mine. 

     

    You can always ask if they will accept this too, just to be 100% sure.

  2. So when we were in Mexico, I lost my Vax cards at the airport. The Illinois Dept of Health sent me a print out of the dates we were vaccinated for each family member. I am hoping this will suffice, as we don’t have the actual cards What do you think?

  3. Sailing on the 27th out of Nola. I have 4 upgrade bids in, they all show pending. All the Haven except forward facing suite is showing sold out. I’m hoping maybe they have been assigned already???? LOL!! I REALLY wanted an upgrade! Hahaha!

    Yes! I am a TA and have a couple in their 80’s supposed to travel on the 22nd and I haven’t received a thing!! It isn’t on the websit either. Hmmmm.....

  6. It isn’t me that wants to cancel. A friend has been getting some bad information from someone he claims has FBI credentials. They told him that if there are any issues he won’t be allowed back into the country!! Lol! I told him it was nonsense and his information is wrong! Didn’t seem to believe me. So he said he Had insurance. I explained the policy and the NCL policy and he was quite angry. I am a TA, just wanted to get some opinions.

    The excursion we wanted was sold out after we purchased cruise.(Escape to JVD) I was wondering if anyone has ever wait listed an excursion - and what was the outcome. I did this itinerary just to go back to JVD!! There are other outside excursions that I could do. I am afraid to do this because of the short time in port.

  8. We have visited many of the islands, including BVI and Tortola. We were able to find wifi at every port stop. Bars and restaurants are the most likely places to find it.

  9. Hi!! Is there wifi anywhere at the Tortola cruise port? I have something important that needs to be taken care of that day. It will only take a few minutes, so I don't really want to pay for internet on board if I don't have to.

  10. Hi!! I was wondering......does Speedy's Ferry drop you off right at or near the Baths or do you need transportation from drop off point? Also, our ship is scheduled to leave it 2pm. Do you think going to the Baths for a couple hours is doable with the ferry??

  11. Well, this Floridian is putting up the shutters. It's a good exercise anyways. Gives me chance to practice setting them up and make sure all hardware still works properly. hey have not been up in over ten years.

  12. I just checked the Soggy Dollar Bar webcam. Looks like a beautiful day!!! Do you think that we will still leave at 7pm? You would think they would want to get the heck out of there ASAP since nobody knows when this bad boy is gonna turn north!! Could they even do that? Leave early that is.....

  13. yup, same here. Returning to miami one time we did get an extra day for bad weather. Katrina did it to us. It wasn't that bad, but no free drinks as i recall. Worst part was having the house go through the storm with shutters not up, and us bobbing in the high seas not able to do a thing about it. Thankfully no major breaks.
