Hi all
Could anyone recommend the best excursions for the above cruise?
Many thanks.

Thanks all. We sail on 7 Oct on Serenade of the Seas so I will definitely report back how it went. Dad is having haemodialysis on board via Dialysis at Sea (via a UK travel agent). I am hoping everything will go OK.

Hi all
Does anyone have any experience of having dialysis at sea on board any of the RCI ships? We are shortly taking my Dad on a New England and Canada cruise and he will be having his HD on board.
Many thanks,
Gill

Hi all
We are shortly travelling on a New England and Canada Cruise on Serenade of the Seas. We have never cruised with RCI before and have a number of questions. Would be grateful for any assistance!!
Our questions are:
1. How many formal nights will there be (it is a 12 night cruise), and how formal is formal? We are used to cruising with Cunard so not sure what to bring on RCI.
2. What is normal attire for evening on non-formal nights?
3. What amenities are in the cabins? I have read there is no shower gel or soap - can anyone confirm if we should bring these?
Many thanks!

Thank you so much Karmacats and all for these very helpful postings. It is 3 weeks today when we set sail!!
My Dad is so looking forward to this cruise as he always used to cruise with my mum. We have had a terrible year as my mum died suddenly 6 months ago and he has been so looking forward to seeing all the beautiful towns and the Fall colours etc etc. He has just come out of hospital after 8 days but the medical insurance are willing to cover him (it is costing a small fortune as we are flying from the UK to the US), but that does not matter.
He usually dialyses on Diaverum and Fresenius machines so hopefully this will be OK.
I will let everyone know how we get on!!!!!
Very best wishes to you all!!!
