We are frustrated not because this happened but because RCCL seems to be acting in a shady manner with all of this.  We just booked a couple weeks ago, only to read that other sailings were notified/changed prior to this.  Yet, RCL has left it listed (even now!) and are letting people buy it, knowing that this will NOT be the itinerary.  We have also seen St Kitts pulled from multiple sailings (like Piper's live blog this week) but RCL is not notifying of that being pulled as yet.

 

We all defend our fave lines, but this is the wrong way to do business.  One thing to leave Haiti options up for months out, but this is current, now.  They know exactly what is going to be the case but are leaving things up as they are, and not telling people of the changed itineraries.  There is no reason for them to cancel St Lucia, as it has nothing to do with covid...other ships are still going there and are in fact there now.  We know that St Kitts will also be gone, as the current sailing has done, and other ships have done. 

 

Was really hoping that cruising was back (lol, especially as shareholders!) but it sadly just is not.  We are just lucky that we were not having to fly in, as that would have been lost money too!  By the way, we called immediately and they said they would NOT be reimbursing for the loss of San Juan.  They would for other ports, but not that one.  Perhaps because it is a US port, they would not specify. Seems not right, still selling an itinerary you KNOW will not be happening, and not offering credits either!

We sail on the 23rd and our ports are still showing Haiti 😂 which we have known forever that we aren't going. 

Someone from our sailing said they got a email that the solarium bistro is closed for the 01/23 sailing. I wonder what is going on.

It's the same test and emed that royal recommends just not through the royal site. I need 4 and they recommend extras. The cost of 6 are cheaper here then from the royal site.

I am on the 01/23 sailing and we still have Labadee as a stop. I fully anticipated that they would have changed this by now.

No choice but to be patient. We still dont have excursions to book. Gotta be flexible. 

I am being patient, it just would be nice to know what we are doing 🙂

No one is going to Labadee! It's over ran by the locals. The weird thing is, some cruisers are seeing the itinerary change to St kitts and St Thomas but it's not changed in the planner.

I booked the 1/9 leg due to wanting to do the western route after the eastern route.  Not only the ports were changed for 1/9, but the entire route!  Now we are eastern for both legs.  😣

 

But I didn't cancel.  

 

Also my St. Thomas shore excursion through RCI for 1/6 on first leg was cancelled this morning.  😞

Nope, they still have us going to Haiti and it's a huge disappointment. We have known for a very long time that we aren't going to Haiti. I have never had an issue with Royal but being we are 31 days from sailing and still unable to book excursions is irritating.

1. My husband and I are boosted

2. my two sons 10-12 are fully vaccinated

I can't answer the rest since this will be my first cruise back since covid started. 

We have to get PCR tests anytime our kids have a sniffle. There is a government testing site right down the street. They do a rapid and a PCR, and we get both results back within 24 hours. 

We sail Jan 23rd 2021 and my boys just got their second dose of the vaccine. So excited to be fully vaccinated.

I just paid $196 for 7 nights on Harmony

Aren't we on the Royal page? Royal does have restrictions with the unvaccinated. 

We sail Jan 23rd. My 10 and 11 year old will be fully vaccinated by November 30th. It makes no sense to me to cruise and not be vaccinated. I don't want to be limited anywhere. 

Right now my Jan 23rd sailing is at $58.00. DO you guys think it may drop a bit more?

Hi all I searched and am having a hard time finding any recent information on this excursion. It will be my husband, me and my two boys (7, 8) on the excursion and I already booked it. It has since sold out.

I am second guessing myself because the reviews are all over the place. The most recent ones are very good where the later ones aren't. I am wondering if anyone has any recent insight on this excursion.

Mostly, I haven't read a single review about kids doing the excursion. Any insight would be so helpful.
