ps. Danish Viking, just realized that you live in Copenhagen. Sorry to go on, but
would you pick the Borgegade location over the Carsten Nieburhs Gade location yourself?

Thanks Sparklebee that's a bit of a relief
that the train station is right across from Wake Up Copenhagen
thought it was a little more isolated than that

Thanks for your replies Sparklebee and Danish Viking
for the Central Station location I was just a little concerned
that the reviews said there was nothing surrounding it and no
cafes or restaurants, although Tivoli is only a 15 minute walk.
On the other hand the Little Mermaid location seemed
like a real neighborhood but maybe far from the mainstream action
of Central station

Hi folks, I've narrowed my choice to two relatively new budget hotels
in Copenhagen by the Wake Up Copenhagen chain for three nights before my cruise and wondered if someone can help me decide which location?
One is in Borgergade (near the little Mermaid) and the other is in Carsten Nieburhs Gade near the central station. They are both incredibly reasonable for Copenhagen (tiny capsule hotel rooms) at about $150 per night in June.
The Borgergade hotel is only one month old. The other one is five years old.

thanks a bunch!
You have made up my mind for me. Was a little worried
no coffee shop or even a 7-11 near the Carsten location even though
it is supposed to be more "central."
The Carsten location for some reason is also slightly more expensive.
Thank you also for all your previous posts, they were extremely helpful.
I'm in Copenhagen for four days then off to a princess baltic cruise
cheers
