How can a positive result not count as a positive case? This makes no sense. If coronavirus is detected then you have the virus irrespective of being symptomatic  or asymptomatic. Every other country counts this as a case. Are the USA trying to reduce their numbers by cooking the books?

A PCR test is used to diagnosis people who are currently infected with the virus

known as the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).

The disease it causes is called coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

It is possible to have the virus but not develop the disease, especially when vaccinated.

I can only image an RC oasis class ship running with 9000 passengers and not everyone vaccinated.  This is like the beginning and its a vaccinated ship with 600 guests.  Scratching my head right now.

When you put it that way! 🤔

  3. It is the Caribbean...it is hot out!

Putting on a dress shirt, then another thick layer of a blazer or jacket is crazy in that climate.

Women can get away with thin, gauzy, lightweight outfits, but men are stuck in multiple layers. It is not enjoyable. Why would anyone "want" to spend their vacation uncomfortable and hot?

    Mike is my hero. :D

  4. Do you ever attend weddings where the facility is air-conditioned?

Sure...but it does not help prevent the heat when one is tearing up the dance floor.

The only solution is to take off the jacket to allow the heat to escape!

Ergo 90% of the reception the jacket is on the back of the chair.

  5. I just want to ask a sincere, straightforward question. I'm not looking for a debate or an argument. I mean no disrespect and I'm not trying to make a value judgment. If you were at a wedding or business dinner (assuming you had a jacket) would you take it off while eating?

    Yes I do.

It gets too hot and if one dances the sweat really starts to pile on.
