you folks are really something. You complain about 3.00 for water for a twelve pack. But you will pay 14.00 for a drink or six dollars for a beer. I can but a six pack for less rhen 6.00. Plus you will pay 2 to 3 dollars on an iced tea at a land based restaurant. Thats for tea and water. Everyone knows when you go on vacation anywhere that you must expect to pay higher prices it,s part of the game.

I was under the impression that drinks were free in the diamond lounge between 5 and 8. Also I understood that drinks credits were pt on your sea pass card if no lounge existed. But today I got an email that states that alcoholic beverages are avaiilable for 25% discount. What is the real deal sailing Freedom 5/3/

Yes Oasis has been in Florida but not in Canaveral. Driving an average of three to four hours from central Florida has many drawbacks But now being in Canaveral changes the game. We have 23 cruises on Carnival but there brand has been going down in my opinion. No live music and the canned entertainment sucks. Food is also not as good as it once was but that is subjective. Price wise Carnival is the better but you get what you pay for.

Now that the Oasis is coming. What is Carnival next plan?

For those not familiar with Port of Tampa at this time of year. Fog is a major player here. It causes major screw ups all the time. When you have 2500 passangers trying to get off and 2500 trying to get on all hell breaks loose. Even though folks are emailed orcalled not to arrive early they still do. Best option is to call the port in the AM takes a lot of stress out of your day.

Whats up with Carnival. First they screw us in Tampa, now Port Canaveral

All you doomsayers get a life. Carnival is not leaving they still will have Fantasy and Spirit class ships that will be able to use Tampa.They will move ships as circumstances permit. Face it Tampa is now a one demensional port Western carib only. They should think about Panama Canal cruises.

Notice that after the Pride leaves in April there is no replacement scheduled at this time. Its economics folks read between the lines. Carnival is not the best choice for Alaska. Since Glacier Bay is really the highlight of the cruise. Carnival only goes there first and last cruise of the season. Princess, RCCL and Holland America hold 93 percent of the passes for Glacier Bay. I have taken 28 cruises with Carnival. But there is no doubt Princess is number 1. And you have to take a land tour for sure makes it trip of lifetime.

Just off the Freedom yesterday. Captain said Freedom will stay in Canaveral thru 2016 May then go for refit. Explorer going to canaveral this nov running a itenary to include Aruba, Bonair and Curacao. No plans at this time for larger Oasis class in Port C/ They expect Quantum to stay in Balt at least a year. Epic heading to Europe.

Just got off Allure 10/27 there are no problems with speed etc the TV showed 24 knots on several occasions. There was no rocking or rolling anf we were in a storm or two. movement was minimal get a life people.
