  1. I'm so sorry for your loss. However, I'm glad you were there to say goodbye to mom. We were in ST Thomas when my mother-in-law passed away. Not being there was difficult for my husband. What type of travel insurance does not let you cancel for the death of a family member? That's the main reason I purchase the travel insurance.

  2. We sailed at the first of October. My husband and I got on board around 12:30 and got ours well before dinner. However our daughter and family boarded around 11:00 am and hers didn't arrive until we had left for dinner. My theory was the first ones to board luggage was on the bottom.

  3. That would be cutting it too close for me. However, my daughter in law had an early flight and made it. All their transfers were done through the cruise line and they carried all their luggage off instead of putting it out the night before. Why not do the late flight , rent a car and see some sights? A lot less stressful.

  4. I can't find the link that tells about local tours for each port. I think I've gone brain dead. Several years ago, we did several cruises and got some great tips on how to book excursions locally. Such as barefoot sailing for the Bahamas or there was a great recommendation for a local establishment in porta Rico that gave us an 8 hour tour. Now I can't find any links for advice on my upcoming trip aboard the carnival magic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
